Beautiful environment, lovely size theatre for atmosphere without feeling too far away from the stage. Great facilities and friendly staff. We regularly visit and always make sure we turn up early to make use of the free car park on site. We will be back soon.

We booked a family show (The Magic of Science) as a last-minute activity on a rainy Saturday. It's the first time we had visited The Matlhouse, and we will definitely return. The theatre is lovely (all the seats have a great view of the stage) and its super clean and modern. The staff are so lovely and helpful, and it's an affordable alternative to The Marlowe.

The Malthouse is a very modern and comfortable venue. Every seat in the house has a good view of the stage. We sat in the stalls but there is also gallery seating - about two rows deep - if you prefer to be higher up. The acoustics and the lighting effects are very good. While we enjoyed several shows at the Malthouse during King’s Week, the Kidaco dance show stood out in particular and we felt very close to the action. My guests were very impressed by all the facilities at the Malthouse. The building has been imaginatively renovated.

I visited The Malthouse Theatre to see JHG Performing Arts production of Cats. I was blown away by the incredible talent on show. It was full of drama, pathos,and fun. The quality of the cast was superb, equaling any West End or Broadway show. The Theatre itself is beautiful and has easy parking for disabled patrons. Good access to the amenities. The seating was okay apart from not up if you need to let people go past. There was no blind viewing areas or pillars in the way. I shall certainly be looking out for further shows from now on. Highly recommended.

The Malthouse Theatre is easy to access, and the open plan of the theatre itself ensures that the entire audience have an excellent view of the stage, The performance of 'Chicago' that I went to see a few weeks ago, was as good as any professional production that I have seen, and performed in, the past 20 years. Choreography, singing, acting were all excellent and with this standard of performance they will give the Marlowe Theatre a very big competitor in Canterbury

Great performance, very reasonably priced. Fantastic venue, clean inside and out, great lighting and was a perfect temperature. The sound was incredible. staff are polite, smartly dressed, bar was great, they even had our drinks ready for us in the interval, loos were immaculate, parking was easy and plenty of space, with staff directing you in the carpark too.

Lovely setting. Easy to park although had trouble finding it. Great show and very good comfortable seats with good view of the stage. Would definitely go back.

The most perfect little theatre for a very personal feel to concert , no seat is a bad seat . All staff very friendly and helpful especially as one of our party has mobility challenges . Will definitely book here again
