What a wonderful place to take the children, so many interesting thing to have a go on, safe and interesting across the ages, even one or two things for adults while the young ones are enjoying themselves.

So much to choose from for adults and children. Beside the river and riverwalk, close to Westgate Gardens and some great poetry on the inner walls of the tunnel between the two.

There is an adventure playground. We sat down with an ice cream in the sunshine. If you want to see the sights and not spend a fortune, canterbury tourism website has a fun selfie walking tour suitable for older children, teens and adults.

Completely fine, they accommodate dogs. They have toilets and refreshment vans so you can get water for them on hot days too.
