Had lunch and decided on the Friday fish and chips special. Portions were fair but ... the chips were more underdone and fish was nothing special. I probably would have had better at the "chippy" close by but chose to sit down instead of a take-away. Price was vey good but would have paid a little more for better. That said,... More

Ample choice of food and reasonably priced. Nothing fancy but nice enough. Toasted sandwich was nice and the chips fresh and hot, the salad was limp and the mayo not very nice. Soup was enjoyed along with the chunky bread. Quite good service considering they were busy.

What can you say, it's a Weatherspoons... it's in Dover... it's cheap and therefore attracts some of the worst examples of Dover citizenry. Food is cheap too, but I wouldn't eat there, personal acquaintance seriously ill after eating their chicken. Unpleasant atmosphere inside, didn't feel comfortable at all.

This is a weatherspoons so nothing fancy but extensive and we'll priced menu. Food was good and wide selection of drinks also at usual good prices for this chain.

Wide ranging menu and good quality - and possibly the cheapest drinks in Dover. From breakfast to dinner time a good place to visit whether it is just for a quick drink or a meal.

From the pubs we found in Dover, this is one of the better. I don't know why there aren't many good pubs in Dover but perhaps we didn't find the best. The only other bar I'd recommend is Cullens Yard (although most of that is a restaurant).
