Great smooth beach with lovely views and uncrowded when we wrere there.Near to all facilities and can walk for some way by shore.

Had some time off at the beach. Its very clean and the beach width is quite good. Quite and peaceful. Nearby restaurants are good. Also nearby there is a historic tunnel. Great food joints and boat rides.

Looks very unkept after seeing the Golden Sands of Margate. es it a long beach but the sand looks dirty. Needs a good sieving to make it look better

a clean beech with life guards on duty provides showers on the beech good wheelchair access , a small cafe accessed easily from the beech , golden sands , activitys fro children ( at a cost ) trampoline roundabout and bouncy castle

Its nice to find sands that are still pleasant to walk along without to much litter. Lots of rockpools for the little and big kids to search in. If you like a swim lifeguards there to look after you

Not the best of the Kent beaches but still enough good sand (some sand and pebbles) and a small children’s play/amusement section to satisfy the kids for an hour or so.

I have not ever seen people fishing directly on the beech but there are lots of fisherman on the harbour wall
