Great sailors church, beautiful models and a little bit of history. On the corner of the harbour if you are passing it is with popping in for a few minutes to get a taste it.

We often pop in when we are near. Avery quiet and comfortable church. Please visit if you are near and maybe leave a small amount of money in the box to help support this church.

We visited Ramsgate on a sunny Bank Holiday weekend and due to some organised entertainment events being held in the harbour area, the seafront was quite busy. We travelled to Ramsgate by train and it is a fair walk (mostly downhill), from the station to seafront. There are a good number of (pay and display), car parks in the immediate... More

This chapel still runs and has a huge amount of history. The building that it is in is very impressive and right on the harbour. Definitely worth a visit!

This is an amazing chapel - open all hours, offering a place of peaceful contemplation in all its simplicity. I have sat here many times, with my dog on my lap pondering on its history and times past as well as the importance of quiet spaces in our daily life.

A lovely little church with interesting models of ships and a very tranquil feel. Right on the marina tucked away next to the smack boys home.

I have visited this lovely chapel many times, whenever I am fortunate enough to be in Ramsgate harbour and have a spare hour to wander. If you have ever seen the 1956 movie Moby Dick, and the unforgettable scene of the church service presided over by Orson Welles, set in a seamans chapel decorated with the artifacts of the sea,... If you have an interest in seafaring/ religious history then this is for you. If not, then the suggestion is you look to some of the other historic attractions Ramsgate has to offer.

I had the privilege of attending the Sunday evening service and left feeling blessed that there are still a few who support the wonderful evangelistic and outreach work that the congregation are involved in...seeking the lost souls and giving support where needed.
