We had a lovely walk through the park coming out at Broadstairs and on to Louisa Bay where we found an excellent cafe on the promenade for coffee before continuing into Broadstairs

The park itself is lovely and the Glasshouse Restrauant a nice place to stop for Tea and Cake (although there is another nice Cafe on the other side also).

Having 2 Dogs what we really appreciated was not just that it was Dog Friendly but the number of friendly dogs (and owners!) we met in the park.

Will definitely be visiting this park the next time we are in the area.

I really like this park as it is very natural with areas of woodland, paths, large grassy areas, toilets and teashop. We went on a Tues morning in October and the teashop by the gate was open and quite busy. Unfortunately the Italianate greenhouse was not and the gate to this was locked so you could not get very near to it. There is a childrens play area and lots of people walking dogs but, as already mentioned by another reviewer, it is a pity that the hedgerow along the sea fence is so overgrown that you cannot see the sea. Still love it.

Came here with my daughter, baby and family dog. Enjoyed a leisurely walk along with doggy meeting lots of dogs and chasing a few squirrels. Had the odd chat with other dog walkers. Plenty of shade and views out to sea. Walk one side to Broadstairs or the other to Dumpton, lots of nice views. There’s a few benches to relax or the cafe Italianate greenhouse for a cup of tea and cake.

When combined with a visit to Petticoat Lane Gallery and a walk through the pleasant park, this made a good day out.

Passed through on walk between Ramsgate and Broadstairs. Large park .... everytime you pass through a line of trees more areas are revealed. Path to walk/cycle along following coast. Toilets and refreshment kiosk just inside gate. Plenty of parking just outside the park. Plenty of space in the park for kids to play and dogs to run around. Italinate Greenhouse is well worth a visit...it contains a cafe too. Play area also there for kids. If you're lucky you will see (probably after hearing!) Ring-necked Parakeets as you walk around. Great place t walk and relax.

We passed through the King George VI memorial park in Ramsgate on a sunny Bank Holiday Monday in April. We had decided to walk the coastal path from Ramsgate to Broadstairs and found the park having climbed up from the esplanade below via the East Cliff chine.
As we entered the park from the Victoria Parade entrance we noticed a block of public toilets and close by a small refreshment facility though we did not use either of these. The park has a lot of grassy areas broken up by clumps of trees and the main (coastal) path runs parallel to the cliff edge, although it is difficult to see the sea due to the thick foliage.
As we passed through, there were many people enjoying the Bank Holiday sun mostly families with young children playing games or people walking their dogs and there were also a handful of sun worshippers just relaxing on the grass. That said, the park was not busy and there was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the surroundings.
Our main purpose for being here was to find the Italianate Greenhouse which we had been advised to seek out along the course of our walk and this is hidden in the trees towards the Broadstairs end of the park and the subject of another review,
There seemed to be ample street parking for visitors here either in Victoria Parade where we entered or ‘South Cliff Parade’ as we left the park to continue our walk to Broadstairs.

This is a great location if you wish to run/dog walk with a big park for kids to play in this makes it a lovely place to even have a picnic (weather dependent) but all round easy to get to do and be good to bring your family for a day out in the summer

This park is a wonderful place to visit on a day out to Ramsgate. Kids can run around and well-behaved dogs too. There's a great little cafe for ice cream and drinks at good prices and bins for dog bags. Cut through the trees to admire the Italian Greenhouse, which is beautiful and lovingly kept. If you're feeling energetic, carry on walking to Broadstairs, taking in the gorgeous sea views.
