Little gem of a place, nostalgia and great fun!
Great fun! We did wonder how long we would be staying when we arrived with 2 pre-teen grandchildren used to playing modern, high definition games however once we went through to the games gallery they were hooked! So much choice, so many machines and so many games. Pong was a huge hit and the youngest must have spent at least an hour playing pac- man. We spent just under 3 hours here and we’re the last to leave as it was closing up as we really didn’t want to leave. This is obviously a labour of love that Mike and Carol have collected over decades and now generously share. We would highly recommend a visit if only for the nostalgia value. We will be definitely be back!
We'd love to see you again. Thank you for making time to write this kind review for us.

An Aladdin’s Cave of vintage computers and video games!
This is a simply wonderful place that really deserves support. A nostalgic trip to the 70s and 80s heyday of home computing and video games. My 3 young girls had a field day playing Pong, Space Invaders and Pac-Man! Highly recommended.
Thank you for writing this review for The Micro Museum. We are always pleased to hear that our visitors had a good time.

    Fascinating collection
Fantastic collection of old computers and games consoles. Lots to play on and everyone was very fair with how long they stayed on the games. The owners were great and happy to answer any questions we had. Small, but well worth a visit.
Very pleased to learn that you enjoyed your visit. Our visitors' enjoyment is ours too and the reason our Museum exists. Thank you for making the time to write this great review.

Well worth an hour or 2 if you/your children would like to play a few old favourites and see so many computer/consoles.
Don’t be fooled by the small number of items visible through the windows at the front, the main collection is on display through a further door and there are lots of video games and home computers to see and play with. The owners and assistants were there, very helpful and freely shared lots of information as well as helping out with getting the games running to be played with. We had a great couple of hours playing a wide range of games!

    Wonderful visit
Mike and Carol were so welcoming and knowledgeable. What an amazing place. Captivating computing history even for non computing aficionados or the non tech savvy. Really lovely hands on approach- we were actively encouraged to try out all sorts of devices from the past decades. Relaxing atmosphere. From adding machines to the birth of the Tamagotchi craze and the pioneering innovations of the giants and founders of computing...Turing...Babbage..and the groundbreaking, collaborative and competing contributions of Apple, Sinclair, Acorn, IBM, Commodore etc. A testament to the visionaries who paved the way and who we might take for granted. There was also something quite special and sensorially thought provoking about looking at all the physically different materials, different shapes and contours, evoking the passing of time, obsolescence and progress. Thank you very much Carol and Mike- truly amazing what you've out together and kept going.
Thank you so much for this great review. Having people like you enjoy what we love to share, makes it all worthwhile.

    A unique and fascinating experience
I went to the museum as I had an Amstrad CPC464 computer plus accessories that I was donating to it. Mike met me there and he was thoroughly charming and welcoming. He gave me a tour of the museum which is packed with old computers, and consoles, and other equipment going back five decades. It's a fascinating collection. Mike and his wife Carole are both very passionate about the museum and showing people how computers and game consoles have evolved over the years. There's plenty of working computers that you can try out. It's well worth a visit and you won't be disappointed.
It was great to meet you and your donation will be put to good use to add to what we offer for our visitors' enjoyment. Very glad to hear that you enjoyed your look around too.

    A retro geeks delight!
A great little museum. If you love retro tech., computing or simply want to enjoy reminiscing for an hour or two then I'd really recommend this place. In essence a way of displaying and sharing the owners personal collection of computers and technology the museum allows hands on interaction with a range of systems, both old and relatively modern. There is an excellent display of computers through the years, but also a number of other electronic based systems. Definitely one for computer/technology nerds, highly recommended.
Thanks for your recommendation to other trippers and for making time to review our Museum. Love the geeks!

Great trip down memory lane seeing computers I used 40 years ago. And my teen and twenty something sons enjoyed gaming as well. Thank you Mike for the tour and interesting explanation about how the museum has developed.
It was a pleasure to meet and talk to you. Hope to see you all again. Thanks for the review...much appreciated.
