Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went to see tge 'Snow Queen' if I remember the name correctly during Christmas. The main actress (snow queen) had amazingly beautiful voice. The most impressive thing for me was that - all tge stage performers had many roles/tasks on stage i.e. one that sing will play violin too and in the meantime she will also dance and act. We actually just went to see the Lion King at Lyceum Theatre before coming to see this snow queen, however, I didn't like this show less than the legendary lion king at all. It's unique budget, but just as good in a different way.

Went to see the wandering wilburys tribute who which was amazing. The theatre had good views and the sound was at the right level. However, the seating was not comfortable - had unmovable arm rests and no proper back support as they lean backwards.

I simply love this place! It's a gem in the heart of Tunbridge Wells. I have been several times to see various productions and films. My last outing was to see their pantomime, Cinderella. I don't have young children but was invited to their gala performance and I wanted to see what all the fuss was about! It was brilliant! A superb, professional cast with a show that would have matched anything showing in London. I have also been fortunate to watch performances by the Trinity Youth Theatre - if you get the chance, go and see them. You will not be disappointed. Overall, Trinity Theatre is a wonderful place to go and you'll also be supporting a local charity.

Went to the comedy night on the 21/8/20 the compare and 1st act were so bad ,should have been renamed lets bore you too tears night ,we left at that point as it had spoilt the evening which was a real shame as we have been to the trinity a few times and its been excellent . you would have thought that someone would had checked some footage on the comedians they were putting on stage but apparently not, even the staff were heard to say how bad they were ,which is a real shame as it ruined the evening. We will return but maybe a bit chooser to what we watch.

We went to see the Youth Theatre production of Jamie at the weekend and it was excellent, the cast were extremely professional and looked like they really enjoyed themselves and the production quality was outstanding. Trinity is a lovely intimate theatre, with great food and bar. Great atmosphere, very reasonable and highly recommended.

I went to see All of us Strangers on screen at this venue in April 2024 because I support my local independent cinema and wanted to do the same while on holiday. Unfortunately this wasn’t the best of experiences. My seat was in the front row and was broken. The venue itself was cold. The bar staff weren’t particularly helpful or cheerful and I was left feeling deflated by the experience. I genuinely wish I could sound more enthusiastic but there really wasn’t much to be enthusiastic about.

Following on from the previous youth theatre performance, we decided to go and see Chicago which was amazing. The cast were so professional, the acting superb and the set design and lighting excellent. We enjoyed it so much that we went twice. Great to see such passion from the cast.

Lovely period building, nice cafe area with a nice selection of cakes.
Pleasant staff, and happy to help if needed.
We visited to see the wizard of oz with my mum and 4yr old.
It was a great show, the tickets were a fair price and we had great seats .
Parking nearby was easy and I would definatly visit again.

While visiting friends in Tunbridge Wells I was delighted to discover there was time for an evening at Trinity. This centrally located Arts Centre brings theatre, dance, opera, films and more to the town and is deservedly popular.
We were able to book tickets for a live transmission from the Royal Opera House ; a triple bill of contemporary ballet by three of today’s innovative choreographers. Each ballet was markedly different both in style, form and music so a challenging evening for those more used to the established classical works. However, as always the dancers were superb and these new works highlighted their virtuosity and strength.
Much as I love this venue, I must admit the seats could be more comfortable, perhaps the budget could stretch to improving this aspect before too long?
Overall though, this deconsecrated Church is quite unique and continues to grow and diversify allowing patrons to enjoy a rich variety of both stage and screen, do visit, you will not be disappointed.

I've been to the comedy cafe 3 times over the last couple of years and I'm never disappointed. If you're looking for a fun but cheap evening away from the pub you can't go wrong. The comedians can be a bit hit n miss but last night it was hilarious! For an extra £3 you get a meal before the comedy starts, plus there's a decent bar.
Word of warning... if you sit on the tables at the front, be ready for a bit of banter with the comedian!!
