We've recently spent a fabulous two days with Wes, rock climbing, abseiling, ghyll scrambling and canoeing. We are a family of 4, Wes was incredibly patient, friendly, knowledgeable and encouraging in all activities, especially with the children, bought all the kit we would need and provided clear instruction and guidance. The booking process was very straightforward with clear and timely communication throughout. I cant recommend Adventure Hunter highly enough, we will be booking again for our holiday next year soon!

Wes was great at communication before the trip. He brought all the kit required (wetsuits, buoyancy aids etc) plus some goggles for someone who couldn't get their contacts wet. We felt very safe travelling down the Ghyll and lots of us were challenged at some points!

I found Adventure Hunter online when looking for a guide to take me and my friends from Australia mountaineering on a visit to the Lake District. After a easy booking process and consistent communication, we were able to have a great day in the mountains.

We’ve now had several days out with Wes, climbing. Everything from instructed courses to guided days on big mountain routes. Always feel totally safe and have an exciting and enjoyable day. We’ve learned loads and now feel we have the skills and confidence to climb independently. We’ll always come to Wes if we want to learn something new or push our grade.

What a great day we had. Morning Via Ferrata and afternoon Ghyll Scramble. Such an adrenaline rush and totally fun. And it was all made even better by our guide, Wes. He was brilliant with every one of us - clear and concise in his explanation, reassuring and encouraging and he was a pleasure to be with.the perfect leader for our day. Can’t recommend Adventure Hunter enough.

Great value and really scary at the same time. Okay, so we are not rock climbers , we don’t do this activity normally but have done Go Ape many times, this is just a little higher and a little scarier.

My friend and I, who are complete beginners to outdoor climbing, had an amazing day climbing at Shepherds Crag. Wes explained every detail to make sure we could climb with confidence. A great way to get into the world of outdoor climbing.

Had a fantastic day out climbing with Wes, He picked a great venue with some stunning routes perfect for the grade we're working at.
This being England the weather didn't play ball in the afternoon but it gave us a chance to work on some rescue skills.

Had a great couple of days in sunshine and rain learning how to scramble levels 1,2 & 3 in beautifully chosen areas by Wes. Felt absolutely confident with his clear instructions and safety precautions at all times - had a wonderful scrambling experience and included some abseiling too. Will certainly go back to Wes for more instruction on future trips and would highly recommend his professional services.
