Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I booked this trip just to keep us busy during a weekend away with my wife. It was pleasant enough with a few interesting facts and stories that were told during the journey.

An unplanned visit to coniston water and seen the launch which was due to leave in 15mins and decided to jump on. It turned out to be a great snap decision. A big thank you to Nat and Dave for making it a fun and personal trip. Certainly a worthwhile trip and would highly recommend.

Thanks Dave & Nat- we had a lovely trip round Coniston today- the water was very still and calm despite the high water levels that prevented us from landing at other jetty's.
Dave was very knowledgeable about the sights, wildlife and history of the area.

We enjoyed a lovely trip with Dave and Nat. It was a very wet morning and we had the boat to ourselves. The scenery was spectacular; even in the rain, due to the autumn colours and Dave's commentary was entertaining and informative. He covered scenery, history, flora, fauna rugby and cricket.,.naturally from a proud Yorkshireman! He clearly has at least some of his heart in the lakes and hills. A lovely morning, thank you.

Do we have to wear masks while on the boat? Need to know as this really is a deal breaker as to whether we do this. We don't want to be sitting in a hot and stuffy mask for 90 minutes.

At the moment the requirement is to wear masks. The boats are all open to the air and wearing a mask was not a problem for us. The staff are very covid aware and anxious to help as much as possible. The situation may change but I would go to any updates on the launch website.

Hi, thinking of booking for a yellow route trip. Just would like to know are there toilets on board as have small children & they seem have an instinct to know when it’s difficult to go to the loo! Also if we book & the weather causes the service to be cancelled is it easy to get a refund?

The launch is a small vessel and does not have toilet facilities. However there are toilets by the car park close to where the trips commence. I have no idea about refunds
