Visited the museum with my 3 grandchildren 6, 8 and 11. We all enjoyed it, very interesting place, a lot of information about the people and area around Coniston. Also a very nice gift shop.

Called into here on a cold and wet day primarily to see the Bluebird section but learnt so much more about the history of the area from the rest of the museum. Friendly and helpful staff and amazing exhibits.

First- for heaven’s sake, there’s far more to this museum than Donald Campbell! I’m just shocked that so many reviews only mention him-even though it’s the RUSKIN Museum. Two-I was here about 90 minutes and actually skipped the Campbell wing. I think most people will...More

Ok so £6 per person doesn't sound a lot but when it only took 20 mins to go round it is a lot. The Donald Campbell display was interesting, which was why we went there

Despite being a regular visitor to Coniston, we had never ventured into the Ruskin Museum, partly due to its location which although in Coniston centre is tucked away off the main road and not immediately obvious.
