This is lovely place to visit with lots of history. The gardens are also well worth a visit. The Tea Rooms offer a large & varied menu catering for all tastes.

We really enjoyed our tour around Sizergh Castle. The guided tour was interesting and informative. I would certainly recommend this place to those interesting in stately homes etc. Good value for money.

We arrived on the day and to be told the castle was closed for a meeting of sorts with some American society.very dissatisfied,We walked round the gardens instead ,as NT members not very happy .

There isn’t a play park or anything that is aimed at entertaining really young children.
