Great way to spend a few hours with the kids.
We have been visiting the Lakeland Maze Farm with our grandkids for a number of years and no matter how often we visit the kids always have a great time. We spend hours there and the kids never get bored. The outdoor playground is excellent and the owners Graham and Jane are always adding new bits of kit such as the inflatable pillows, giant slide, water wars game, climbing obstacle course, climbing frames, large sandpit and slides for the smaller kids. The indoor soft play has been extended recently and the kids have great fun in this. The animal barns have been upgraded this year and the rabbits and Guinea pigs have a luxurious home and play area. The staff are polite, enthusiastic and very helpful. The food is reasonably priced, and the coffee and ice cream are delicious. The 2 mazes are always an interesting challenge. All in all a great way to spend a good few hours and I highly recommend the Maze Farm to locals and to those visiting the area. We have season tickets which allow us to visit as often as we like and it is great value for money.

    What an amazing little find!
What an amazing little find, so much fun for a little family. We took our 3yr old who loved everything from the tractor ride, feeding the animals to go karting and playing on the inflatable slide. Recommend to anyone with kids, we got a little rain and still found things to do. Not a massive site but still spent over 4 hours here!

Unpretentious, well considered farming fun for kids 4 -14.
A great day out for families with children. Plenty rides including swings, trampolines, slides and the Maze itself. Should the weather be poor there are things to do inside with a softplay, a small climbing wall for children, go-karts and a few other things. There are farm animals to view as well, plus a tractor ride. All in all this is an unpretentious day out for families with kids from 4 to 14 I'd say, which is not too vast and not too pricey. I've been with my grandkids 4 times and will keep going back. It also has a reasonably priced cafe and a small souvenir shop.

Value for money, fun family day out
Great day out for family with young kids. There is a wonderful indoor soft play area with climbing wall which is completely gated off. The bouncy castle/bouncy pillows are a great way of tiring out the little ones. Lots of karts/trikes to play on as well as trampolines and outdoor play area. Food is reasonably priced. Then there’s the farm as well. Don’t hesitate - it’s well worth the money.

    Great day out!
visited while in the area on holiday. Looks very small on google maps however there is plenty to do. We started off in the animal barns ehich are full with llamas, goats, pigs, cows & alpacas. All look well looked after. Had a bit of time on the bouncy castle and the rabbit tunnels which went over well. We then had lunch while the little one enjoyed the soft play. Again, all well maintained and clean. We then went down to the large field which had a bunch of things to do including a very large slide, bouncy slide, park and of course, the very large maize maze. All very much enjoyed. Overall, its a great place to visit to kill an afternoon.

This was a really enjoyable day for all families young and old I had my 12 year old granddaughter and my fourteen year old grandson and my mum who is eighty they all had a grey time they fed the animals went on the slide we went into the maize maze which was a really good experience the only thing is my mum sat at the picnic area with our bags it was a good job really as there is no way she would have done it but she wasn’t bothered as she was just people watching and was enjoying the lovely sunshine the grandchildren loved it we bought the map of the maze with the intention of not taking it out of the envelope as if you don’t open it you get your pound back that you pay for it not that I would have taken it back as it all goes towards the up keep of the activities which there are plenty of but did have to open map as we just seemed to be going round in circles at one point but really good to watch my grandchildren working together to find our way out but plenty of picnic areas plenty of rubbish bins place was spotlessly clean and tidy there is a cafe and the prices are reasonable but next time I go think I will pack a lovely picnic and sit in the fresh air to eat all in all it’s a little gem of a place that I just happened to stumble across when I was looking for places to go with the children and would highly recommend for a place to go with the children as it really is a full day out

Excellent day out! We've been a couple of times now - the season pass is well worth the money. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. Special mention to Rose who took an abundance of group photos for us and our friends on our most recent visit :)

Definitely recommend here to anyone with young children. There's so much to do and it's just such a lovely wholesome day out.

Came for Easter and it was excellent for everyone! There is a lot of things to do including bouncy pillows (one for older people and one for young kids), mini golf, a big slide, go-karts, a play park, and a maze (when in season). We went in September 2021 and did the maze, we did it pretty quickly, but it may take you a few hours so I wouldn't recommend it if you have younger children. The slide was very fun but there is a minimum height (110cm). Overall a great place for a family day out.

Me and my family really enjoyed this trip there were lots of different activities for all ages. There was a football net with holes to shoot in, which my son enjoyed. There are two bouncy pillows one for older ages and one for younger children, the pillows were not very busy so there was a lot of room to bounce around. There is also mini golf , trampolines, a maze ( when in season) ,a playground and a slide which was really good fun. You get a wrist band when you enter which the person at the top of the slide ticks, you get two goes of the slide with that wrist band however you can buy more. However I do have a few complaints firstly another two people from my family group came separately to us and did not receive a wrist band which they did not realize until later on when we were all lining up to get on the slide. They went to the entrance but there was no one there. This was really unfair for them and they missed out on one of the main attractions. My second complaint was that there was a a badminton 🏸 net however there was only one rachet and no shuttlecock. After waiting 20 minutes in the ice cream 🍦 queue the portion was frankly laughable it looked like it had been scooped with a tea spoon! and was gone in a few mouthfuls. However overall this was a really fun experience and have returned many times before this occasion I definitely recommend, and this is great value for money. 😊
