Fun way to spend an hour
really good way to kill an hour especially if the weather is bad. my partner had a great time. I do think it needs a bit of TLC here and there it looks exactly the same as it did 15 years ago and some of the exhibits look a bit tired.

    Dated but very enjoyable
Good way to spend an hour when its raining or to entertain kids. Nothing had changed from our last visit several years ago which was nice but also made some of the exhibitions look like they need a bit of tlc. Staff were very friendly and our 3 year old thought the holograms and the mirrors especially were hilarious. When he went in the room and it made him look like he was taller than me on the screen he was amazed. Will come again in another few years when he is older and see if anything has changed

    Mind Blowing for all ages.
Totally awesome and mind blowing!!! This place is full of amazing brain testing illusions . Unbelievably fascinating. We will definitely go back. As elderly people we were astounded. Highly recommended for all ages .

Good place to go for a rainy day
We decided to go to the puzzle place because it was raining. It was cheap to get in, although i wouldn't have paid anymore. It was very interesting with little rooms to go in if you wish to do so. Although not for anyone who gets dizzy easily. They are a flight of stairs to get to the museum, so not wheelchair friendly. I enjoyed it and I would go again if I was looking for something to do.

A nice way to spend an hour
We had a few hours in Keswick to use, and decided to pop in. We had a good time. I was particularly a fan of the sloping room - it had a warning it can cause disorientation and it wasn’t kidding! Worth it just for this room. A good amount of the other illusions I enjoyed as well. As in other reviews maybe a few bits felt tired and without the best production values, and maybe a few too many holograms (did they get a bulk discount from their supplier?!) but still would recommend.

    This place is brilliant!
This place was brilliant! My husband and I visited with our 15 and 13 year old children. We had on hour or so of fun, laughing with our minds boggling! It was a busy day in the school holidays but we still got to try everything. All the exhibits were well maintained and in working order too! It extremely good value for money and we'll worth a visit!

    Well worth a visit.
Best £15 I've spent for a while. Whole family (2 teenage kids) really enjoyed this place. Lots of fun and mind boggling things to see and do, spent well over an hour and would go back next time we are in Keswick. Highly recommended!

Got a score of 4 - get an online shop and you would get a 5 from me!
Fun place to spend an hour. Nothing mind blowing but a good laugh with friends and family. I would have bought a few items from the gift shop but was restricted what i could carry due to illness. Would be a good idea for the owners to set up an online shop and could be an extra revenue stream if they did - i would defnitely use it.

Well who'd of thought I could get into these positions at my age !
Really great place for all kids and adults . Didn't expect it to be so good with only paying £4.50 entrance . We are in our 60's and were really entertained . Also given a warm welcome and plenty of room to move around .

    Well worth a visit!
This place was fascinating, if you have an hour or so it's definitely worth a visit. It can get really busy, and when we visited had a lot of kids just running around. But we had a great time nonetheless and most people were respectful and patient. Worth a visit for a very reasonable price.

This was a fun activity for a rainy day. It took around an hour to get round, though there is potential for it to take longer if you wanted to spend a while revisiting certain things. The gift
Shop has a very good selection of pocket money priced toys. A family ticket was well priced and easy to buy online.
Be warned, it’s best to book when it is rainy or during holidays, it can also feel quite busy and there isn’t much space to move around in.

As a couple of 40 year old with no kids we thought we'd be out of place here, but thankfully not, we weren't the only older kids that turned up here - in fact it's safe to say it's an all ages thing.
Admission is £4 and we stayed well over an hour so the admission was easily worth it.
The place is comprised of various puzzles and illusions all collected in a series of rooms. Optical illusions, holograms, weird wonders - we had loads of fun. One particular part of the room really made our heads hurt - we knew the floors and walls weren't level, but our brains just didn't believe us. Much fun was had.

I was not expecting much from this place knowing how cheap the tickets are, I thought it would be a ten minute walk around, nothing special, but I was so surprised by how good this place is! The staff are really friendly and there are a lot of covid precautions in place. Even though it is no longer mandatory to wear face masks in public spaces, it is still required here. This was no issue for ourselves, but I thought I would mention it because we had to run back to car to grab ours. As it is an interactive museum, there are also hand sanitisers everywhere and are asked to keep your distance from other guests.

The museum starts with optical illusion section which is very engaging as you want to try each one. As you walk around there are a selection of rooms which have different illusions to try out. There is one room which is crazy surreal and affects your whole body, I will not explain how or what it is as do not want to ruin the experience.

Overall, this place is really fun and incredible for the amount you pay for a ticket. Fun for all ages, would really recommend.

Worth the entry price but needs updated ,
We visited here a few years ago ( we live locally) and now that my granddaughter can read all the exhibits we found it good fun and interesting, we spent over an hour here and we both enjoyed it ( 9yr old and 63 yr old) I noticed a few of the exhibits need attention, nothing more than a perhaps a few minutes spent repairing them , a few exhibits were not working and the walls need repainting which would make it look a lot less tatty. Surprised to be honest how tatty the walls etc and a few of the exhibits (eg the briefcases) were . It would take a very short time to rectify these problems.
However granddaughter did not notice and the shop on exit was good not overpriced.
Would recommend but would say it is looking tired.

We came here as it was raining and wanted to do something inside. The attraction is up a large flight of stairs and I didn't see any lifts so I don't think it's wheelchair accessible. There are also no toilets. There are various illusions on the walls and some rooms to go in. A lot of the exhibits are interactive. There is one room which says you may get nauseous if you go in I definitely did - it really messes with your brain! The attraction was ok but its a bit tired and dated and could do with a spruce up - some things don't work as they should and even the walls could do with painting. The tickets are cheap enough though and we spent about half an hour here. The gift shop sells illusion games, toys puzzles etc and these were quite cheap.

Small series of rooms, lots of optical illusions to interact with. No real ‘right’ way to go through them all which did lead to some areas feeling quite tight as it got busy and back logged. Fun morning, we all enjoyed ourselves but could definitely do with moving to larger premises with better facilities.
Entrance is up a flight of stairs, no bathroom on site so take kids to bathroom pre visit!

Not a great place of interest. Is a small pokey upstairs of a building and is not wheelchair accessible. A lot of money for what it is. £9 for two adults just to see some holographic images on a wall and a few exhibits that were interactive. Only takes 45 minutes max

The place it's self is interesting and fun for about an hour. However, inside is a bit grubby and no toilet for customers. It cost over £25 for our group of 2 adults, 1 child, 1 disable adult, 1 carer and 1 student as no discounts were offered on the website except for seniors. The board outside said not to enter as it was full and to use QR code to book. We had to wander away to find a 4G signal and discovered we were actually able to book immediately for that time slot. On arrival we enquired about a bathroom and were directed to public ones in the high street that charged 50p per visit. We will not be back.

Visited here with my 6 year old daughter on a very wet day in July. Very reasonably priced £8.50 for the both of us and provided a good couple of hours entertainment on a rainy day. Despite being pretty busy there are a lot of exhibits. There is a gift shop at the end which has a variety of reasonably priced pocket money priced gifts. Didn't have any toilets.

I found the puzzling place really interesting and the kids loved all the interactive exhibits. However, I would wait for another time out of school holidays as it was very busy. Despite buying a timed entry ticket we were crammed in and had to queue for certain bits, and social distancing was completely impossible. As a result we didn’t see everyone as it just felt too uncomfortable and close.
