My family and I took part in a 3 hour mountain biking tuition afternoon at Whinlatter. Our instructor Ben keen was outstanding, Punctual, polite and really friendly. Ben is clearly a very knowledgable individual in relation to outdoor activities having worked in the field all over the world for over 30 years. His tuition was well matched with our differing levels of biking skill between my wife, myself and two boys 12 & 14. Ben explained the important basics of MTB cycling and ensured we all had a grasp of the safety essentials in a fun way whilst covering everything necessary. Ben made our afternoon really enjoyable and left us all in no doubt we would like to continue this sporting activity well into the future. Really good value, great fun, terrific exercise, superb tuition, thanks Ben your time and considerable effort is very much appreciated.

We had a brilliant afternoon of Ghyll Scrambling with Ben. He was really attentive to the children in our party and tailored the experience to make sure they pushed themselves while still having fun. I would really recommend The Adventure Element to anyone looking to explore the great outdoors with a calm and reassuring expert. They are lovely people too!

We had an amazing afternoon with Ben in the Ghyll. The kids aged 7-11 loved the adventure and so did the adults and dog! It was extremely well organised with excellent kit, the adrenaline was flowing we all had such a great time.

Fantastic Canadian canoeing trip expertly led by Ben and his team. 3 glorious hours on Derwent Water including a stop over on St Herbert's Island for a well earned brew. Brilliantly organised and thoroughly recommended

An amazing day out with an Incredibly professional company with excellent communication throughout. Our instructor Mieps was very friendly, knowledgeable, encouraging and supportive, making our day the best it could be. Our group ages ranged from 20's - 50's
Ghyll Scrambling: Mieps and Ben created the right amount of challenge for everyone in our group. Didn't feel cold at all in the lovely thick wet suits provided. The session was excellent and so much fun !
Via Ferrata: A fantastic course with beautiful views down the valley with great photos of our experience provided. We would highly recommend this experience!
Ghyll Scrambling: Mieps and Ben created the right amount of challenge for everyone in our group. Didn't feel cold at all in the lovely thick wet suits provided. The session was excellent and so much fun !

Fantastic afternoon Ghyll scrambling. Thank you to Ben for pushing us all slightly out of our comfort zone! Brilliant sense of achievement at the end. Would definitely recommend to anyone who fancies doing something slightly different. We all had a great time.

Steve was patient, calm and knowledgeable with our group of mixed abilities and ages. He was encouraging and made sure each of us challenged ourselves. We arrived looking nervous and left smiling with a sense of achievement.

Ghyll scrambling and rock climbing
Everything was perfectly organised from start to finish. We had lots of great encouragement and so much fun! Our leader Steve made our experience so relaxing, enjoyable and full of laughter. We felt completely safe at all times and just had an absolute ball of a time. Thank you so much, I can't recommend it enough!

This was such a great activity! My 2 sons (ages 8 and 10) and myself joined 3 others and we all had such a great time. Booking onto the activity was straightforward, with well organised instructions. Ben was friendly, encouraging, supportive and definitely made sure we all got the most out the trip. Ben was so accommodating to everyones abilities and safety was paramount. Thank you to The Adventure Element for creating a very special memory for us, it was exhilarating ......we will be back!
