What an afternoon! I booked this for my husband’s birthday, he’d never done anything like this before and he absolutely loved it! Woody was a fabulous instructor and we can’t wait to come back. He also captured some great photos on his camera which he sent to us after. Great memories made! Thank you.

Did 2 activities. First activity great no issues. John was very good.
Second activity I didn't enjoy so I asked if I could stop. My personal choice so no blame.
My issue would be that we had to wait 20 mins for the other customers to arrive. I looked at your previous reviews and other customers have complained about this so why wasn't changes made?
There should be 5 mins waiting time and if they don't show up and there's other customers then don't wait for them. When they arrived they were holding beer cans and distracting me which was dangerous for me. They didn't bring medical forms and asked if they needed one form for 3 people??? And they were deemed safe enough to be climbing with me? They couldn't even remember the name of the company. I didn't feel safe.

Massive thanks to Woody for a great morning out adventuring the Stoneycroft Ghyll. Family of four, 10 and 15 year old girls, very well looked after and they felt safe every step of the way. Excellent equipment, never really felt the cold in the wetsuits and he even supplied two for each girl to keep them extra cosy, buoyancy aide and helmet to keep you safe. Always an alternate route if you don't fancy something and a couple of challenges for those more confident to throw yourself into. I think the best way to anecdote the experience is to say that at the very first obstacle/slide my 10yo was bawling, swearing blind she couldn't do it, too scared. With comfort and encouragement from us all and Woody, she watched her mum and sister have a go, sat in the edge, still crying, and delved right in. After that she led the expedition 😂, more confident with each slide, jump and dunk. Thanks again 👍🏻

Absolutely loved Adam and the exhilarating experience for us all. Adam was very patient and informative. Scenery was stunning. Temperature of water… chilly but not too bad. Our 12 year old went first and loved it.
I was out of my comfort zone but really pleased I could manage the jumps and slides. Really good fun few hours! Thx Adam :)

Climb the mine is an inside Via Ferrata with a zip line. It’s requires some level of fitness and a head for heights. We climbed up a couple of caverns and walked and scrambled through some tight spaces. Andy was our guide who was good fun.
We booked into the 9am slot and so we’re lucky to have a small group with only 5 of us. We got to do an extra loop because we had time.
We prepaid for the photo package, not sure this is worth it though.
Would definitely recommend this activity if coming to the Lakes with teens.

Very fun activity. Not as cold as we expected, so would definitely recommend doing it at this time of year. Our guide Andy was amazing. We will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic afternoon ghyll scrambling at Stoneycroft. Woody the instructor was brilliant - he was friendly, knowledgeable and gave clear instructions so we always felt safe. A great experience which I would highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing, I saw this ten years ago whilst hiking in the lakes and it's stuck with me ever since, finally I got to do it and it didn't disappoint!! Woody our instructor was superb, it was like visiting an old mate and he made you feel at ease at all times. We will be doing this again next year, different gorge but definitely not a different company. Superb!!
