Lake district paddle boarding offer Introductory SUP lessons, Paddle boarding lake and river tours as well as private sessions for families and groups. We have locations on Derwentwater nr Keswick, Glenridding on Ullswater, Ambleside on Windermere and at Bank Ground farm on Coniston Water. All our sessions are tailored to meet the needs of the individual. If you've never tried SUP, you won't get a better introduction. "We make paddle boarders"

Had a great morning learning stand up paddleboarding for the first time on Derwentwater. John was a great instructor. He took in to consideration the weather conditions and ensured safety was paramount. It was a great experience and the kids loved it too.

We had a great time learning to paddle board on Derwentwater this weekend we had a small group and we all had a great day. The instructor was very patient and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend and the introduction session is great if you haven’t done it before. The views were spectacular too.

We had a fab time learning to paddleboard on Derwent water, this weekend! The teacher was really good and very knowledgeable...explaining all the key points and tips which enabled my wife and I to begin stand-up paddle boarding on our first ever lesson! It was a small group...all great people, and we had lots of fun! If you're a beginner and have always fancied having a go, I would highly recommend the Introductory lesson. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

We went paddle boarding last week for my husbands 60th birthday .It was the first time for both of us and we were a bit apprehensive but our instructor Tim soon put us at ease and we spent 3 hours on beautiful Derwent Water under his expert end fun guidance .
We would definitely go again and cannot rate our experience highly enough .

Having never paddlebaorded before, I booked a 3 hour lesson which was given by Harrison. His calm and relaxed nature ensured my family had great fun and were confident enough to hire boards independently later.
The location on Coniston is fantastic, although rural. Changing facilities and toilets available and a cafe nearby.
Highly recommend using the Lake District Paddle Boarding team.

Loved the afternoon spent on Derwentwater. John was very patient and calm. We were standing up much quicker than I anticipated. Beautiful setting. 2 days later I can feel every muscle in my body but in a good way. Thoroughly recommend!

We had a fantastic afternoon with our instructor Tim. Non of us had ever done paddle boarding before, but after a short intro on the basics, we were on the water and up on the boards. We will definitely go back next year!
