If you're passing then this is worth stopping for, although I do get the feeling you'd see it better from the air. Despite the name there's no round table, and only tenuous links to King Arthur. As it's just off the main A6 then it's...More

We toured around a number of English Heritage sites on a rainy afternoon. Park at Mayburgh Henge and walk down to this site. It is neolithic but some of the site was destroyed when the road was built. This site is more difficult to imagine...More

Not much to see - doesn't have the sort of impact that many of the other sites in the area have - best to include it on a tour rather than visit on its own

Interesting to see since it is something that Wordsworth mentions although it may be something you could just view from the road. So glad it has survived.

As above, not a right lot to see if you're after something a bit more visible. In comparison to other sites of historic interest it rates low, hence the low mark. However, worth visiting if you are in the area and have an interest. No...More

Very little to see, and it is prehistoric, nothing to do with King Arthur. If you are interested in archaeology and nearby, it only takes 10 minutes to see the bank and ditch.
