We had a fantastic afternoon out on the eMTBs. We headed over Askham Fell and down to Howtown on Ullswater and then back to Lowther Castle. The bikes were in tip top condition, and Sarah was super-friendly and helpful and not at all grumpy when we were 20mins late getting back!!

We were able to order the hire bikes from the shop website easily and they were delivered on time at the campsite where we were, staying by Sarah. The bikes were well serviced and were equipped with all the necessary tools and tubes for on the go servicing if required (fortunately they were not required.) Panniers were also supplied for the E-bike which made life even easier. Sarah was able to answer all our questions and also provided advice on routes in the Pooley Bridge area, for us to have a go at which we enjoyed over the four day hire. Excellent service, bikes and advice. Thank you.

Couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. Showed us where to go sorted out a minor mechanical problem brilliantly and quickly. Bikes were excellent and in brilliant condition.
The castle and trails, all well marked, was a great place to introduce our 12 year old granddaughter to mountain biking. She definitely wants to do it again so Daley forest next stop!

Fantastic service easy collection bikes were ready when we arrived, Andrea gave us plenty of information regarding routes , did the route too Ullswater spectacular views a bit rocky in places but nothing we couldn’t handle. Amazing day out highly recommend 👍

We had a really fun day hiring e-bikes. Andrea was extremely friendly and helpful in advising which routes to take.
We took a picnic to have whilst taking in the beautiful surroundings. Great views of Ullswater Lake. Would definitely recommend hiring bikes from here

Went on a 36 mile organised bike ride on one of Arragon’s e-bikes. It was great! I had health issues and was unable to keep fit to go on a push bike and found the e-bike a great solution. The bike was great and the service was second to none. I highly recommend Arragon’s for all of your cycling needs. The e-bike is great fun.

Arragons have given us great bike servicing and advice for years. Their friendly and supportive suggestions are always welcome.
This time I hired a gazelle e bike from arragons for the first time. Cycled around the moray firth and Sunderland for 11 days. The bike was reliable, comfortable and had good umpf uphill when needed. Good battery life.
Arragons had generously let me try it out twice before committing to the trip and they provided a toolkit and written instructions as a back up.
As ever an excellent service and so great to have such a brilliant local bike shop.
