Booked a midweek break for me and my nearly thirteen year old son in the second week of the Easter school holidays. We stayed at the Lakeside apartments. These are about five minutes walk from the village centre. A bit further if you want to cycle there as you'll have to go 'round the houses' instead of via the footpath... More

Really brilliant time for the 11 of us. The 5 children especially loved it. Good that there are no vehicles on site for nearly all the time giving the children scooter and bike times. Very happy memories!

Have been here loads of time and know its pro's and cons well. Goes without saying that it's expensive but for the money paid would at least expect CBeebies and/or Channel 5 for Milkshake to be available when trying to entertain a 4 and 6 year old who are up at 5.30am each day until events get underway. Obviously don't... More

This was my first visit here and I have to say I wouldn't rush back. We went as a family with 2 houses, we got a normal 2 bed for one and then the other we treated ourselves to one with a hottub for 8 people. I must say it was very pricey for the trip so my expectations where... More

Our third visit to centre Parcs Whinfell and probably our last until I hear of major. refurbishment plans. Accommodation was clean but the downstairs shower was leaking, there were holes in two of the towels, there were moths in the upstairs bathroom, there were missing tiles on the bathroom walls and the toilet made a dreadful notice when flushed. There... More

We stayed in a two bed, two storey exec at Bilberry Wood that has recently been refurbished to a high standard. My wife, our 5 year old and 2.5 year old stayed for 3 nights and had a great time. Yes, CP is a bit pricey but we expected it and you can make it as cheap or expensive as... More

This an amazing place to go to on a weekend with family and friends as it gets you away from the house and TV and instead gives you an amazing visit.Personally I think the pool is the best place as there are a variety of things to do and you can even book things like aqua jetting also outside the... While it feels expensive especially during school holidays it is worth it. The pool is great for the kids, the wooded grounds are superb to run around and the activities on offer are extensive should you wish to use them. While you can spend money on activities you don't really need to. Some cheap or free things we did include:... More

Every year we come something has got worse. They no longer do marshmallow milkshakes in the cafe at the STSP, I really really loved those and now u charge... More
