Took advantage of what was going to be the best days weather of the week to go to this nice spot. Yes the parking is a little pricey to go for a walk but this is basically a donation to the National Trust to assist...More

This is our 2nd trip to Lake District and we have not been to Aira Force until our lodge host introduced to us this trip. Great 1.5 hours leisurely walk after a heavy breakfast.

What a spectacle. A short walk from the car park with different choices of route available (none too taxing). The waterfall is a must see along with the surrounding walk.

We timed this visit perfect, there had been rain the weekend before and the Force was in full flow The trees and plants still had colour and the sun made it a lovely day

An easy hike to a spectacular waterfall, especially worthwhile after a day of rain. Some steepish steps if you are not too sure footed.

Very pleasant visit with a 3 yr old Only comment would be the cost of 1 piece A4 paper for squirrel ramble for grandaughter.Think there could have been at least a sticker at the end for children

Outstanding views and a lovely walk. The car park is overly crowded (pretty understandable), and fairly expensive, it also doesn't offer a text to park or the use of a card, it does have free parking if you sign up to the national trust monthly...More

Nice walk and climb through the woodland which is well worth it when you see the waterfall, either from the top or the half way point. National Trust car parking at £5 though is a bit steep.

We had a lovely walk around Aira Force. Even with dodgy knees I managed it. It should be noted that this is busy and there are a lot of steps involved. But a great walk on a damp autumnal day.

Very clear and obvious paths take you on a circular walk of the falls and surrounding woodland.

I think it’s safe as long as they don’t walk near edges of the banks. Holding hands they would be fine.
