Windermere is only small so its doesnt take long to visit its shops . Many privately owned which makes a nice change from the large multiples elsewhere

Very busy area even on a cold wet day in February. Plenty of restaurants, cafés and pubs to choose from. Also lots of gift and clothing stores. Parking can be a nightmare.

Parking in or around the actual street is never easy. Better to drive through the town to the Lakeside where there are a couple of bigger car parks and walk back.

Yes there is a Trespass shop on lake road in Windermere and I am sure there are several other outdoors supplies shops in the area as there are so many activities carried out in the areas
