We went on a 75min river cruse this morning Wednesday 30th November very nice . We could have a nice hot drink on board and a snake if you wanted to . The boat stops at Ambleside so you can get off and get the next one back .

Biggest lake in the Lake District with the biggest town, Windermere. Absolutely love the way the town goes absolutely quiet while the sky is still light at 10pm.

Have been here a couple of times. It is a lovely area to visit in the warmer months with quaint villages, nice hiking and boat rides up and down the lake

A wonderful lake Probably the most popular lake in the lake district. Try and find a spot away from the towns where it's quieter

Very picturesque with a variety of hotels to stay and watersports to enjoy, for the experienced angler there is a variety of large coarse fish to be caught.

Absolutely stunning place. The views are amazing. The people are friendly. Visited in November and it snowed so was very cold. We will definately go back in the summer
