Parked at White Moss car park- cost £4.40 for time we needed. Plenty walking routes to choose from either up to Loughrigg Fell, along to Grassmere, along the side of Rydal Water, up to Rydal Caves. Picnic benches scattered around. Enjoyed all the more due...More

A really nice walk that you dont need to have all the hiking equipment to enjoy. the path on the south side is much easier than that on the north so stick to this side if you dont want to tackle a slightly more challenging...More

You can park at White Moss car park next the lake for a reasonable price and begin your walk from here. The walk isn't too difficult, though there are some steep parts. The views are fantastic and a great place to take pictures. Continue on...More

We drive just about an hour and a half to do this walk so must really like it. It is perfect for us and wonderful to enjoy such amazing scenery whilst getting some decent exercise. I would say that this isn't one for real walking...More

The walk to the caves, around and beyond is not for the unstable...but once you get to the caves - they are stunning. Continue on for more views.

To take in the best views park Town End area by Dove Cottage in Grasmere and walk up towards Alcock Tarn turning right by the farm and proceed along the 'coffin trail' which is above the White Moss carparks. The views of Rydal are lovely...More

Walking around Rydal water makes for a very pleasent afternoon walk. It is not too strenuase and the views are wought seeing, try to go on clear day when it is not raining.

There is a car park. You pay on the way out. There is also a toilet near the car park as well. Easy on the foot, a good place to take the dogs on a walk. Scenic views along the way with plenty of opportunities...More

Hi we drove to Rydal water I think you would need to catch a bus ring up a tourist information they would help.

There is a NT car park nearby. Several pounds for a few hours. Not sure of price for longer
