The birthday dip

A fab day; thoroughly enjoyed the ghyll scrambling, Si made sure it was fun and he was patient with us, which was good because he needed to be. Would definitely recommend :-)

What an absolutely brilliant experience we had today - ladies 55+ Si is such a nice friendly guy & made our experience fun with lots of challenges & fun games along the way, while giving lots of encouragement to keep us motivated. Highly recommend Lakeland Ascents and definitely will be returning, thanks again Si

A tough challenge, but rewarding

We did rock climbing. I've never done this before so I don't know how it compares with other companies. We expected, and wanted a challenge, but it was more difficult than we expected. Si had his work cut out with a 48 year old lacking in the flexibility and leg length departments (definitely a disadvantage) and a 16 year old who became very nervous after seeing me slip and swing hard against the rock. I did eventually make it to the top, but came home with a lot of bad bruising. We were told that we were doing the easiest route, so complete beginners need to have a good level of fitness and not ignore the risk of getting hurt.

Great fun not too extreme suitable for all levels lots of laughs. Fabulous location stunning scenery. Si our guide made the experience inventing games along the way

Fantastic time!

We had a fantastic time with Si doing the Ghyll Scrambling. It was a cold day but he gave us all two wet suits to make sure we stayed warm and they really did the job! Si did a great job of getting everyone involved and adjusted the activities to our level, size and enthusiasm! A fantastic trip and a definite highlight of the holiday!

What an amazing experience

Booked this as something different to do with my husband and so glad I did.
Rob was brilliant from start to finish ensuring we knew everything we needed, felt safe and great personable skills which made the experience.
Kit was great and really clean, overall loved every minute and planning our next experience. Thank you

Had a fantastic time, both guides were very friendly and enthusiastic. Due to adverse weather, effort was made to change venue instead of cancelling which was much appreciated, alternative venue was still very enjoyable! Would highly recommend.
