Having visited Blackpool since my youth I have seen numerous yearly illuminations. Unfortunately, maybe due to lack of funding, I thought this year's were not up to scratch. Illuminated company adverts show how things have changed over the years. However I am sure that children...More

Travelled up and down on the tram several times. You can then sit and see things on both sides. It was great for my granddaughter as each time she noticed something different. It's a lovely thing too see. Wouldn't advise driving the golden mile as...More

Really do love seeing the illuminations, a bygone era for sure. The great thing is kids love them as do older folk. You must ask however, how enthralled one can be give how lightening has come on in the past 20 years i.e. it's not...More

2 hour trip on an open top bus. Very cold in October but time was taken to make sure no illuminations were missed. Beautiful at night. Loved it.

The Blackpool illumination is great for all ages. The council raise money for charity but it's a free show and a good one. From where we live it's close to pop over at night. It's amazing how far people do come from to see the...More

Do you mean the Cinderella carriages? They were £45 from one end of the promenade to the other. You can buy a tram ticket for a day and hop n and off as often as you want. I was £14.50 for a 7 day ticket.
