Visited the big guy with my two daughters yesterday, we did queue for a while but with social distancing that’s to be expected. My girls loved the grotto and their visit to Santa wasn’t rushed, he spent time to speak to both girls individually. The photo opportunity with Santa was very Covid safe and lovely setting. After their visit with Santa we met Mrs Christmas Eve - she was fantastic with my daughters filling a bag with everything they need to make their own baubles. She spent time asking them about their visit to Santa and made the experience magical for them! The hot chocolates to end their visit were a yummy treat too!

You book an allocated time slot which is utterly pointless as you still queue outside for over an hour. The gifts are total trash. My daughter is 8 and got a soft doll suitable for a baby. My son got the most hideous gat I’ve ever seen. No social distancing in place. Awful

I booked my ticket the day before at ticket sales, and was told due to covid I would be on a table on my own for the show. I turned up and the tables were pointed out to me with numbers on, so i made my way to my table. There was a laminated sign in the middle of the table saying that to order drinks you had to visit a website, then when the drinks came you had to pay by contactless. Unfortunately I have an old phone and was not able to order any drinks, and was prepared not to have a drink through the show. A couple came and sat on my table, and they got a bit funny with me as I would not move. We both got our tickets out, and mine had the right number on, and the couples had a hand written number on matching my table number. A member of staff came over and took our tickets away, eventually moving the couple to a different table, but my table number was changed on my ticket to another number by pen. During the show a member of staff came round to the tables, asking if I would like a drink, as I was prepared from the sign not to have one. I decided to decline. There are toilets downstairs. The show itself was great, and well worth the money.

we attended the panto on ice, the show was amazing. but when we arrived the automatic doors into the foyer were out of order and we had a person confined to a(manual) wheelchair with us and had to struggle manually to get in. when taken to our seats by very friendly helpful staff we went to use the disabled wheelchair toilet it was total impossible to get a wheel chair in or out of the toilet as it was too small. after the show we went back down into the foyer but could not get out as automtic doors were out of use and the shutters where the exit ramp is were down and locked the only way we could have exited would have been down several steps, we ask a member of staff what we could do and they had to radio through to another member of staff who was the key holder to open up the foresaid shutters. i find this unacceptable in this day and age and would love to hear a managments reply to this. i must add that the staff were helpfull and polite at all times and the show was spellbinding
