We went on the Ghost Walk and the Ghost Tram on separate evenings, highly recommend both. Firstly, the Ghost Walk. Stephen is highly engaging and tells stories of the past in a way that makes them come to life. We had been on a ghost walk before (in 2019) and unfortunately several of the stories were repeated, however, we didn't remember the details only the locations so this wasn't too much of an issue. The stories were thrilling and spooky. The only downside to the walk were the drunk people that decided to disrupt the walk halfway, a common occurrence I believe but one that is difficult to avoid. After the tour we went to a pub to experience a victorian seance, it was interesting and insightful to understand how these are conducted.
The Ghost Tram was also brilliant, our second time but it was a different tram and all different stories which was great. The heritage tram added an extra feel to the atmosphere. Unfortunately we had 4 women in front of us who felt the need to talk throughout the tour which was irritating. Would defo join the tours again though!

On our recent trip to Blackpool we decided to try the Ghost walk after reading so many brilliant reviews. We booked our tickets online well in advance so we could get the date and time we wanted as these walks get booked up quickly. We really enjoyed listening to all of the ghost stories Stephen told us about the various buildings and he was very knowledgeable. We will definitely be joining more of the supernatural events when visiting and would recommend anyone to try the Ghost Walk when in Blackpool. You wont be disappointed!!!!

We were in Blackpool for a holiday and did a Ghost Walk last year and decided to do one again. We visited some different locations this time and Stephen explained the truth why the areas are haunted and by who and how the ghostly happenings occurred. The tour takes in buildings around the Town Centre and each one has a different story behind it. You cannot go to Blackpool and not book a tour with Stephen. His knowledge and truth about the Ghosts that haunt Blackpool will have you intrigued and wanting to do another one. 100% guaranteed you will not be disappointed.

We were at Blackpool for a long weekend and I was telling my friend all about the Ghost walk as I've been on them a few times and thought they were great , so we went on Sat 10th Oct and as usual I was not disappointed. Stephen always puts so much effort into the way he tells the Stories , not only Ghostly ones but also a little bit of Blackpool history to. Definitely a must do when you visit Blackpool, I know I will be doing it again.

Stephen Mercer, author of Haunted Blackpool provided an intimate group with an in depth and interesting look at Blackpool's historical development and the hauntings associated with events gone by. A thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours learning of the roles Blackpool's greatest landmarks have played over the years and the not so well known tales of what happens behind their walls. If the opportunity presents itself, I would highly recommend visitors to the town book on to one of these insightful tours. They have been such an education into my favourite destination.

Just completed the Blackpool Ghost Walk, Stephen the tour guide was fantastic, full of knowledge on the history of Blackpool which we had never realised before. The final seance was fabulous, I personally held the bell, which rang twice without any prompting from me, I can assure you. If you appreciate supernatural stories and experiences I would personally recommend this, also unbelievable value priced at only £7.50pp.

I will start with the important information. I am a complete sceptic when it comes to any supernatural, ghostly stuff, but we went along to be entertained.
Our host was a wonderfully engaging character who told his stories well and corralled the group through a number of locations, keeping everyone interested. He dealt with a group of drunk lads wandering through the middle of our group well and kept the stories coming.
We finished off with a seance above a pub. As a sceptic, it was fascinating to see those who wanted to believe persuading themselves as a group. And there weren't any cheap tricks like a pre-arranged jump scare at the end like the only other ghost tour I had ever been on some years before.

Went on the ghost tram last night. A Halloween event hosted by Stephen Mercer. It was brilliant! A real treat! Highly recommended to visitors to Blackpool and locals too. Stephen dressed as a Victorian gentleman has us all enchanted with his thrilling, scary and sometimes funny stories. Highly entertaining and if you enjoy supernatural tales and events check out his other events too.

Stephen The Victorian Ghost Hunter is the perfect host for all he does. Tonight we joined him for one of his famous, (infamous?) Blackpool Ghost Walks and we’re not disappointed. From when we arrived at the meeting venue till we were finished, (almost an hour and a quarter later) we we regaled by this raconteur extraordinaire with information, history & dates, stories and tales of the darker side, the ghostly side of Blackpool’s murky past. We visited the places of frequent ‘sightings’, from the tower ballroom to the Grand Theatre …. can’t give too much away, you need to join a tour led by the very personable, friendly, yet still the quintessential professional, Stephen (The Victorian Ghost Hunter) Mercer! Unusually, our tour ended up at the Spanish Suite where all of the participants agreed that they’d take part in a séance, yes we undertook a real, live séance and I’ll say no more than do the tour yourself to find out what you could experience. All in all a great evening, great value for money and really enjoyable

Hi we are in Blackpool on Saturday November 2nd. Is there an evening tour and if so where and when. Thanks.
Written 27 October 2019
Hi drumking, thank you for your question. The season is coming to an end at Halloween I'm afraid. The final Blackpool Ghost Walk takes place on Wednesday 30 October and the final Ghost Tram tours on 31 October, there are no tours on 2 November. I am so sorry there is not a tour while you are here. Perhaps another time, do keep an eye on our website though... Enjoy your trip to Blackpool...

Thanks
Written 5 October 2019
Hi there. The Ghost Tram takes place on Fridays only up until 18 October and then there are three tours on Halloween evening itself. Blackpool Ghost Walks take place on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings until 30 October. The two tours are separate events, so on the 12 October it would be the walk. More details can be found on the website link for Supernatural Events. Hope that helps... Stephen, Supernatural Events

Hi ,
I’m in Blackpool very soon with my sister & wondered if I should book both the tram tour on Friday & the walking tour Saturday can you please advise tell me if there will be different information & stories on both the tours please or the same ?
Thank you
Written 25 September 2018
Hi Chrissy55, the stories you will hear on the tram are told at different points on our journey from Blackpool to Fleetwood and back; the stories on the walk take place solely in Blackpool. There is a slight crossover of 2 or 3 stories only, you will hear many different tales on both events. Hope that helps...

Are dogs allowed on the ghost walk?
Written 26 August 2018
Hi Michelle, yes you can bring your dog with you on a Blackpool Ghost Walk as it is an outside walking tour. Hope that helps and hope to see you (and your furbaby) on a spooky stroll soon...
Written 26 August 2018
Hi! Does anybody know whether the walk visits any current or former theatres or cinemas? Thanks
Written 21 August 2018
Hi fourcats130, the Blackpool Ghost Walks currently stop outside the Winter Gardens where you would hear stories of ghostly goings-on in the two theatres there, as well as The Grand Theatre. Hope this helps... Stephen - Supernatural Events

We loss our money, due to inappropriate communication with the Blackpool office team. We were waiting at tram bus stop for 90 mnts from the departure time, but they are not convinced. So we lost 42gbp tkts fare. Pls return our money and improve the communication with customer.

Hi there. This is Stephen, the owner/founder of Supernatural Events. Tickets for The Ghost Tram are sold via Heritage Tram Tours or VisitBlackpool Tourist Information Centre. I (Supernatural Events) am the host of the tours but I do not sell tickets for them, so I am unable to return any monies from tickets that have been sold.
I am so sorry you were unable to join the tour through some kind of misinformation. Have you contacted whichever of the two companies I mentioned above who sold you the tickets? I would suggest calling them to explain what has happened and request a refund.
The Heritage Tram Tours number is 01253209521 and the Tourist Information Centre number is 01253478222.
If I can be of any further assistance please don't hesitate to contact me on 07519265637 and I will help in any way I can.
Best wishes,
Stephen
