Catch the number 7 , 11 or 68 bus to get there if you need public transport as it stops right outside. It's a fantastic few hours out and very educational and interesting

I cannot recommend Hangar 42 enough, interesting talks and enthusiastic people made this a venue to revisit again and again. Great experience with lots to see detailing the history of Blackpool aerodrome over the years.

Hidden Gem of a Museum in Blackpool Airport Hanger 42. Had the great pleasure of visiting at the end of April, spent about 3 hours with guided tour of Aircraft and Museum facilities. Got to sit in the Spitfire Simulator , WOW what an experience....More
