Every now & then you find a little gem & Cocoa Amore is one of them! Pete is passionate about his trade & this comes across in his workshops & creation. And beautiful chocolate, what more cold you want. Highly recommend attending a workshop or just pop in for a devine hot chocolate. Love the little touches like you can purchase the 'chocolate high heel shoe' this makes reference to the fact the building was a former shoe manufacturer but also a wonderful something different gift idea.

Thanks to Jen who led the chocolate workshop we attended as a group. She was informative, fun and we had a great time tasting different chocolates, decorating our chocolate slabs, making truffles and having drinks to finish. Pete the owner was great to chat to also and the shop itself has a fantastic array of handmade products.

As a birthday present, my siblings booked the workshop and I have to say it was the best way to spend time as a family and enjoy some sibling time. Ashneet was a brilliant host and made the experience so lovely. The refreshment part was such a lovely way to finish aswell.

Excellent staff who were very helpful, chatty & friendly The small cafe area was clean & set out nicely. The hot chocolate was delicious, and we enjoyed adding our own chocolate drops to the milk. We purchased some of the chocolates in the display cabinet which we are really enjoying. There is plenty of choice in the shop as theres also a selection of pre boxed chocolates, bars and bagged hot chocolate. Definitely worth popping in for a treat / gift

An excellent afternoon spent at this delightful venue. Only 8 of us at the workshop upstairs. A lovely young informative lady taught us all about chocolate with lots of tasting samples. We then continued to make our own chocolate bar and truffles. Lush hot or cold chocolate drink or gelato break included. Such a fun, afternoon. Made to feel very welcome. I would recommend anyone near to Leicester to book and give this a try.

I had an unforgettable experience at this chocolate workshop. The staff was the friendliest I've ever met, and they presented complex chocolate information in a simple yet engaging way. The high-quality chocolate tasted amazing, and I'm looking forward to visiting again for their ice cream. I highly recommend this place for a visit; it's a must-see!

Had the best time with Ashley on the chocolate workshop! Highly recommend this to anyone who likes chocolate. Learnt some interesting facts, especially about about beavers and vanilla…. Also tasted some Hawaiian chocolate which was out of this world!

We had a brilliant time learning all about the cocoa bean and then making chocolate bars and truffles. While the hand made chocolate was setting we we provided drinks and. Chocolate. We enjoyed it so much we have tickets for making a chocolate Christmas wreath

We attended the chocolate workshop at Cocoa Amore as part of our team Away Day. It was great - interesting and engaging and hands on. Not only did we learn about the origins of chocolate, we were able to make our own chocolate bar and truffles. We were also given a choice of different delicious hot chocolate drinks and a chocolate included in the workshop ticket. The staff at Cocoa Amore were so lovely and clearly have a passion for chocolate. Ashley was a fab teacher. I'd highly recommend the workshop (suitable for all ages I think and a great Xmas present idea) and the chocolate (I'm now addicted to the chocolate honeycomb and will just have to return for more).

I did the chocolate making workshop with my sister-in-law last Saturday. We started by learning a bit more about chocolate and how where it is grown impacts on the taste. There was a chocolate tasting to give us an opportunity to try chocolate grown in different regions before we began to make our own chocolate bar and truffles. Our instructor for the afternoon was Ashley and she was engaging and interesting to listen to. She really helped bring things to life. While our chocolate bar and truffles were setting we got to choose either a hot chocolate or gelato (we had gelato which was delicious) with a choice of topping and chocolate. Once refreshments were over we packaged our creations and were given a 10% discount on purchases. It was a good afternoon (2 hours total) and Cocoa Amore is definitely a shop I'll return to, to buy chocolate or just to have a hot chocolate. They also do a special Christmas chocolate wreath workshop. Highly recommended.
