It was a nice place to see in Leicester Which is Free to visit only on the last Sunday of every month contains two floors accessible worth visiting if you are interested in history and ancient architecture

We weren't able to go inside as it only is open a few days a month. We did go to the museum just down the way about the shoe making history of Leicester and we learned about the Leicester regiment who fought in WWI which...More

Orginally a 15th century gateway, this triple storey building is surprisingly roomy & empty. Nice small cross shaped windows in the building. Used as a munitions store during the English Civil war, hence the name magazine.
