Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Regrettably this is now a hang out for rough sleepers. We walked through briefly - several litter bins had been turned over with rubbish strewn everywhere and a small broken tent was pitched on the grass.

If you happen to be in central Lincoln these small gardens are worth c 20 minutes of your time. On a gradient but with nice views looking down a main road and from there up to the cathedral and Bailgate area.

There are several seats which give nice views and the gardens are nicely maintained by the council.

Apparently these were the first public gardens in Lincoln and are very close to the city centre. Effectively, the well known Usher Gallery is in its grounds.

These are well maintained but smallish gardens with colourful flower beds at the right time of the year and nice displays of daffodils - plenty of seats available. Quite a steep uphill walk from the Lindum Road entrance with lovely views up to the cathedral and also very pleasant views from higher up looking down Lindum Road with the hills on the skyline.

Well worth a visit although I would caution a visit when dark - a sort of old shelter adjoining Lindum Road is at times used by rough sleepers.
