Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Took my daughter Liv for her first skateboard lesson this afternoon and she absolutely loved it! Kieron was her instructor and she said he was great - very encouraging and she said her confidence is much better just from one lesson. First thing she asked when we left was when she could book in again!! All the staff are lovely, very welcoming and chatty. Thank you for a great experience we will be back soon. Highly recommended

Avoid company. They false advertise when things are not in stock and the customer service is terrible.
I ordered a pair of skates from here as it advertised it will be delivered two days after. I have now waited 3 whole weeks to which they sent the wrong size. I contacted them and they advised me they were waiting on a shipment and I would receive the correct size the next day. A week later I am still waiting. No communication whatsoever. I called multiple times to which no one answered and when someone did, there was no apology and their excuse was the UK sizing to EU was wrong.
They will not go above and beyond to resolve the issue. I've had call 11 times and send 2 emails over the course of 4 days before I could even get a response.
Do not bother with this company!

I'm not commenting on the skating I'm sure my children are enjoying themselves.
However I'm sat in the parents room which is absolutely filthy dirty.
I do not advise anyone to sit here while their children are skating.
There is rubbish everywhere no one in the past hour has been in to clean up.
A child has just sick and they wiped it up of the sofa with a mop? It is still all underneath the sofa.

My 7 year old son was bought a skateboard lesson at Rampworx by his grandparents for his 7th birthday, which was back in August. Hed really been looking forward to the lesson. We go to otterspool skate park every weekend and Id heard great things about rampworx. He can already do lots of tricks and wanted to learn a few more. £20. What a waste of money. Didn't learn anything. Very dangerous. Instructor not interested. Took his away from the adults who accompanied him for lesson and at end of lesson left him on his own in a different part of rampworx. Even though instructor knew where we where. So nobody looking after him. He felt nervous and didn't understand what was happening. He is normally a very confident boy. He was almost hit by somebody on a bike - twice. Too many people. Very dangerous. Didn’t learn anything new. Complaints sent direct to Rampworx remain unresolved.
Very very disappointed.
I would like to give them a minus but that option isn’t available.

Rampworx is great. Lots of choice runs for new and experienced riders. I believe Rampworx is run as a charity rather than a profit making business which may be relevant to my comments. Even so if provides excellent facilities aside from the ramps themselves e.g. cafe, bikes / skate shop, parking. I've given it 4 out of 5 but the final star is only due to minor things I think would improve the place. e.g. route guidance for beginners maybe by painting markings on the ramps/runs. Wooden floors rather than concrete. And better decor (obviously has no impact on your riding but would look so much better). I highly recommend Rampworx Aintree anyway. Its great fun.

My son loves it here. He usually comes with his cousin and have to say that even though there are mixed ages including adults, everyone respects each other's space and follows the safety rules. It's got a grunge feel, which adds to the whole skate park theme. One thing I would say is it would be nice if the parents room had a revamp as it is quite dull and ripped couches and we spend hours in there drinking tea/coffee

Rampworx costs between £6.50-£7.50 during the week, £7.50-£8.50 on the weekends (they also sell an all day pass for £12)
Good part--the food is reasonably priced and they have a large selection. Tons of ramps to skateboard, bmx, rollerblade and scooter on. The staff is good and very helpful.
Our son had a private lesson with Liam(£20 for an hr) for skateboarding. It was very good and he really learned a lot.
You can also rent all equipment (£5 for bmx, skates, skateboard, scooter) £2 for a helmet, which is compulsory for under 16's.
Only downside---unheated!!! In winter you can see your breath (although they do have heated parents rooms)

There is a Premier inn at switch island which is not too far & the park hotel is even closer (not stayed at either) If you want somewhere with more to do then stay in Liverpool centre and you can get the train.
