Our 10 yo had been before, however it was the 8yo first time. Ruby was helpful amd patient explaining the basics. We booked in for an hour and they spent a mixture of playing separately and together. Glad we paid for sn hour's session as the time flew. Great mix of games, boys particularly liked Job Simulator, Vacation Simulator, Beat Saber. The whole family couldn't resist paying extra to use the pods and experience a virtual rollercoaster ride and a Stars Wars style experience. Stsff were really friendly and clearly love working there! We will be returning.

Came here to see how VR Arcades operate in comparison to regular arcades. Quite different. You get a headset and a sizable booth dedicated to you and only you for the time you’ve booked in. Then you get access to all the games they have AND you have full ability to change and play them yourself. Staff remain on hand or can be called for any help that you need. Obviously they come quicker if it’s a quiet tim like the time I went in. Impressed to see how they operate in a post-COVID world; staff wear masks and gloves and clean your headset with a sci-fi looking UV box after bookings, so you know it’s clean. Colleagues are great and friendly (can’t remember their names, sadly) and are always happy/patient/understanding if you need help or have questions. Recommended for everyone, though Under 8y/o kids will have trouble with the concept, though I’m told that the pods work well for them. Will be coming again.

This was a fantastic family activity. The facilities were clean and well maintained and Keir, the member of staff looking after us, was really great. He had lots of patience and was really helpful. We will definitely come again. We will probably book some birthday parties here too. Great activity for adults and children.

Great experience but very expensive. If its your first time you spend a fair bit of time trying to work out how to use the kit and laoding up the games - even experienced gaming kids! This means the 30 mins is over very quickly. I would say they only got about 24 min of actual playing which is quite steep at £15. They LOVED it though and I'm sure if we went again they would maximise their time. Our host (Kieran?) was great and made sure everyone was ok and accomodated a glitchy headset for us.
