I bought this as an early Xmas present for my BFF and we had the most amazing 5 hours with our gin guide Stephen visiting bars that I brevet even knew existed in my home town.
Stephen was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about all things gin. He was really organised and engaging and made sure the party of 8 all mixed as well as giving us the history of each gin we tasted and the cocktails we enjoyed. He was such a lovely person and I will definitely be booking again as long as Stephen is our gin guardian!

What a lovely day out this is. We were taken to 5 different bars to sample Gin cocktails, Steve our guide was a mine of information on the history of each Gin we had. Very relaxing day and such good company.Highly recommended.

A massive thanks to Mark, our gin guardian, for a fabulous afternoon and VIP Gin Journey. Mark was very knowledgeable, entertaining and looked after us all. The organisation was exceptional, and the reception from the different venues was warm and welcoming. Food was amazing.
A lovely, friendly group of people, great fun and a great way to spend an afternoon. Would definiteley do it again.

Great VIP Gin Experience with group of friends. Ste our Gin Guardian did a fantastic job and coped amazingly with some last minute changes because of Covid.
. We learned a lot. Would recommend even if you are not a great gin drinker as the history is really interesting. The only slight problem was the very loud music in all the venues not ideal for a group mostly aged 60-80 but in most cases Ste even managed to get that turned down so we could hear him speak

Tour was great. Our guide Joe was really nice and made it even better. Price worked out for £10 each bar which included a cocktail and shot, so really well priced too. Would highly reccomend

Excellent value for money gin tour. Good mix of gin cocktails and a good range of bar visited. Transportation provided complete with Gin treats and competition prizes. A fantastic way to visit some excellent bars serving excellent gins. Steve was brilliant - very informative, friendly and interactive with all guests. Highlights of the tour fro me were Maray and the Liverpool Gin Distillery. Food at Maray was brilliant. Loved the concept behind Maray too. Getting to see behind she scenes of the Gin Distillery was also great fun. Nice interactive day out.

Took part on Liverpool Gin Journey 1st Feb. Great day out with interesting venues, I've lived in Liverpool all my life but found places I didnt know existed.
Steven, our gin guardian was a brilliant host, knowledgable and fun with a clear passion for his work, which made the day engaging and fun and learnt alot about Gin and its origins and also some Liverpool history. It was nice to meet a whole new bunch of people and everybody was friendly and got involved in the day. A great event at a very reasonable price, would definitely recommend! Thanks gin journey and Steven!

Had a fantastic day yesterday with a lovely group. Mark our Gin Guardian was fantastic, very knowledgeable and he really looked after us. We learnt a few interesting things. The afternoon was well organised the bars we visited all very welcoming. Highly recommend the Gin journey Liverpool would definately do it again.

Booked onto this Leeds @ginjourney for a birthday treat for the sister. Cracking afternoon, lots of gin, cocktails & laughs. Lee was brilliant, knew his stuff & really approachable. An all round great day out, definitely recommend:) ❤️

What distillery do they visit on the tour. I’ve been to the Liverpool Gin Distillery and wasn’t impressed!

On the Gin Journey you do not visit the distillery. You visit five different venues, sample five gins and five gin cocktail, you are driven to each venue and information is provided by a knowledgeable guide. Hope this helps.

It’s a short walk (10 mins?) from Central station: take a left out of main station entrance onto Hanover street till you reach Hub Ale House and go left up Duke street. Campbell street is 2nd on right, carry on a few metres then it opens up into small square with Amalia restaurant on your left and Furnival’s Well on your right, go through courtyard and into pub and you’re there!
