Totally took my breathe away. The structure of the building and history is inspirational and the view from the tower is amazing.

Stunning cathedral. Paying to go up to the tower is well worth it. The views are spectacular. A must for all visitors.

Taller, longer and higher than all or most. Heaviest bells and 200,000 pieces of stained glass in the windows. Stand in the Nave in front of the wooden doors and look to the alter framed by the Gothic bridge to appreciate the beauty and scale...More

Thank you Richard S for your review. Next time you come to the Cathedral ask for the "nostrils" one of the greatest views you will see in the Cathedral.

We went to see the knife statue (which had gone to Hull!) but it is an awesome building which compares to some of the European Cathedrals we have seen. Make sure you visit the ladies chapel at the back right of the cathedral.

Enormous, impressive, austere and memorable. Certainly not overwhelmingly spiritual, as cathedrals go, but a ‘must see’ if you are in Liverpool.

The Cathedral is a must visit location in my opinion. Any denominations are welcome. The building is stunning and famous for the tower which is accessible via a lift and short up the stone steps (not for the fainthearted) Also famous for the stain glass...More

I have only seen guide dogs. If you contact Liverpool City Council hopefully they will be able to give you the correct information as to whether dogs would be permitted to enter the Cathedral or contact the Cathedral tours... More
