Completed in 1978 this is the largest Anglican cathedral in Europe. Inside, the lack of adornments only adds to vastness of the "great space." A combination of elevator and stairs takes visitors to the exterior heights of the tower and some grand views of the city and landscapes below. A small fee is required for the vista experience.

Beautiful cathedral

We always visit this cathedral when visiting Liverpool. Our young children love the splendour of the building. A must see.

A beautiful 20th century cathedral, big and bold. By chance we were treated to a wonderful (free) performance by the Liverpool Philharmonic choir.

This is a classical Catherdral and maybe the biggest in England as mentioned inside. Really worth a visit. When we went it was prepare for a corporate event, so it was a bit busy, but still manageable. They also had leaflets in many languages. Worths a visit

One of the largest Cathedrals in the world. We were here for our sons graduation and it was a wonderful location for this occasion. Nice coffee shop too where you can get a cuppa

When you travel to Liverpool then for what? It's just an old industrial city with old ship stuff, docks and the Beatles. Expect that what should you see? Then the answer is the Catherdal! It ia huge! And the view that you will be able to see after climbing a stairs inside a top of cathedral tower is great!
