We were lucky enough to stay in a hotel on Albert dock and awoke to the river below our bedroom window. What a lovely place. There is a walkway around with a fantastic choice of restaurants. It is also ideally placed for all the tours which operate from Albert dock. The town centre isn't far away and also all the... More

I think the Council ? have done a really good job on the redevelopment of this area. It is very easy to walk around with a great view of the Mersey and the great historic buildings that align the waterfront. There are various shops (mainly souvenirs) cafes, bars and restaurants, under cover around the bottom of the building facing into... More

I took my 9.year old son on his last day of the school holidays - what a great place, so much to see and do. We went to the marine time museum, the slavery museum and Tate. Need to go back for the Beatles museum!!

Add a number of niche/touristy shops and proximity to the city centre, shoppers are happy too. Nighttime is very lively, with numerous bars and restaurants coming alive for the party goers. For daytime visits, take a... More

We had a little walk around as we were early for a dinner reservation. Really nice to see the Albert dock busy again and there were lots of tourists enjoying the sights. Very interesting, historical part of the city. Lots to see and do

Plenty to do and see in Liverpool. Surprised at the amount of sights to visit and of course The Beatles pubs and clubs are a must. The Cavern Club has very good and has entertainment throughout the day and night. The dock has many good eating venues and attractions to suit all ages. Liverpool shopping is a must but you... More
