This area is a must for any Liverpool visitor. Plenty of restaurants/bars. The museums are most definitely worth a visit, even children would enjoy the two museums....a pleasant change when a family could visit attractions for FREE!!

If you want history of Liverpool and something for all the family, this is a great place to visit.
Impressive place for walking around waterfront, lots of shops and museum sites. Nice restaurants. Nice views on river Mersey . During our visit was windy weather, and on the footpaths were flying rubbish.
The royal Albert dock is a fantastic place to visit when going to Liverpool. Our hotel was a short minutes walk away. It contains some lovely shops with lots of Beatles merchandise. Scenery’s are beautiful and is a great place to take some lovely photos!...More
We walked all around the docks both during the day and night and it was a lovely clean place to take a stroll. Lots of nice things to see and plenty of photo opportunities.
