Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Get there as soon as possible, especially towards the top avenue near the Littlewoods Building and this is the super pink walk under all the cherry blossom trees ..... perfect under a deep clear blue sky. Peaceful and tranquil.
Access is from Edge Lane Station just a few mins walk away or from Edge Lane itself by the No 6 or No 7 bus. Don't forget to take your camera as well.

One of the undiscovered lungs of Liverpool. The Botanic Garden is a walled garden within the boundry of Wavertree Park and is a peaceful haven of tranquility. The aroma in the air takes you to Italy and it a perfect place to rest a while.
Access from Edge Lane Station just a few mins walk away or from Edge Lane itself by the No 6 or No 7 bus. Because the gardens are quite small ...... its probably not worth a visit if you are a daytripper or tourist on a busy schedule ...... but for anyone else its worth seeking out ...... take your camera as well.

This is a pretty place to relax and stretch the legs. The the grounds are well maintained and there is an attractive, walled section.

Hubby and I visited the gardens last month and we both enjoyed them very much. There are a few remote benches and it's so nice to relax in a quiet place in a sunny afternoon.

Lovely well kept gardens inside a popular local park. There's not a lot to it however what there is is well kept and incredibly pleasant. It has a small car park though I just walked and it's accessible by bike. Evidence that it is well cared for.

We visited here recently and i must say we were a bit disappointed.
Its a lovely little park but the gardens are in need of some planting and care.
It lacked colour and there were some obvious borders that had previously had plants in,i felt these would have looked lovely if they were dug over and new plants put in.
There are a few benches around the gardens where we sat and enjoyed the birds and wildlife and it seemed popular with local dog walkers.
There is a children"s play area nearby and a large grass area to play ball games and go jogging.
This is not a place you could spend the day in,but nice if you want a short stroll and it"s certainly not a botanic garden.
There is a car park available but no toilet facilities.

Been here a couple of times since March. A nice place to walk around. Cherry blossoms time is a bit later than the other areas. However, it is worth the wait.

I stopped here on impulse and went for an impromptu stroll. The gardens are really pretty and a haven of peace and tranquility. There were hardly any people about. A great place to wind down. Beautifully kept too.

Have not been for yonks, it was good to see that it was still being looked after, and as nice as I remember . It is good to be able to relax and switch off . I have many happy memories from my youth when I frequented the gardens. It was a favourite place for a stroll when I was working nearby.
