We took a trip to Liverpool to celebrate my 65th birthday -no, wait, to take my musician husband on his dream pilgrimage to the land of the lads. He had done the research and said - we must hire Jackie. Only the best for him - and I have to say no one could do such a tour justice better than Jackie. Her knowledge abounds and astonishes - she has done her homework and researched many of the details that are included in her stories that she shares from stop to stop. We'd go back to Liverpool just to see Jackie! She was very informative before the trip so that we could arrange visits to historic sites that needed to be booked in advance and just figure out the general lay of the land. I will never forget spending the day before I turned 65 in Paul's boyhood living room while a tour member played "When I'm 64" and my husband sang it. This would not have come to pass without Jackie's helpful ways. There were other perks as well to signing on with Jackie - but I don't want to give away all of the goodies! Let's just say that it appears that she has special connections that others do not - you get the real deal with her!…

Jackie makes magic happen and dreams come true, there is no other way to describe it. The second tourism opens back up the first call people with an interest in the Beatles and Liverpool should be making is to Jackie, as she is that good and well worth every penny and moment of your time. This is an admittedly belated review (from 5/19), as my mother and I spent two full days with Jackie on her private "every little thing" tour and it really encompasses everything you could ever want to know about the Beatles, where they started, and their time in Liverpool. I'm not even the Beatle fan in the family - that's my mother, who the tour and entire trip to London were for - and I left with a huge appreciation for the group and now enjoy their music more than ever. My mother is the die-hard Beatle fan who saw them as a tween, has followed them ever since, and our trip to Liverpool and London was her dream bucket list Beatle trip. I actually booked our travel dates around Jackie's availability, based on reviews found here and elsewhere plus her charming personality when I got in touch. The two days with Jackie covered so many things - seeing where the Beatles grew up, where they played (including obscure places), where they and their loved ones lived, went to school, even places where they were born. And being a private tour, we had Jackie all to ourselves for my mother to chat about Beatles lore and history - all while a fantastic driver whisked us from place to place and fantastic (Beatles of course) tunes played. If you are on the fence as to which tour to choose, should you go private or group, etc I strongly encourage to tour with Jackie, and a private tour if within your means as you really will get so much more out of it. Taking my mother on her dream trip was really one of the highlights of my life, and that all started with Jackie.…

I've had the pleasure to do several tours with Jackie. Being a HUGE Beatles person, there is always something in Liverpool going on to satisfy your Beatles binge, but Jackie is also a fabulous guide for the entire area. On my last visit, we jumped in the car and spent the day in Haworth, a charming cobblestone village in West Yorkshire and home of the Bronte sisters. The village itself is absolutely lovely with many shops and pubs and museums and plenty to do. So if you're a fan of Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre or Agnes Grey, or even if you're not, you will love this precious English Village surrounded by the beautiful moors. Jackie always knows exactly the perfect tour for you that honestly can be life -changing,…

I went on a Beatles tour with Jackie Spencer in December of 2019- quite honestly and very simply, it was the best tour of my life. It's not just her knowledge of the Beatles (which is beyond comprehension) or her voice (which is like if Morgan Freeman was a female scouser) - but it's how PERSONAL the tour was. She interacted with people whenever possible, loved helping people take pictures, adapted certain parts for the audience and if you asked a question, she ALWAYS knew the answer, but would also let the group know. I also loved how she had a soundtrack to the tour - not just songs in between stops, but clips of songs to illustrate things, or remind you what you were seeing, and even a Gerry and the Pacemakers song that explained what she was saying about the Mersey. Honestly can't wait to go on another one with her.…

We visited all the major Beatles spots and then some. Jackie was a great tour guide! Her knowledge and stories were amazing and very detailed. She was also very helpful in recommending other sights to see in Liverpool and places to eat, etc. She had visual aids on her IPAD which were really helpful to paint pictures of how life was in Liverpool in the past and the Beatles back in the day and, of course, the Beatles music playing at times. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Liverpool.…
