We just popped in here for a look. Ended up stopping for a coffee and cake at the little cafe. Very pleased we did. Awesome piece of history. Also a couple were getting married which was lovely to see,
This St.George Hall is right opposite Lime Street railway station, its a very impressive hall.
We called in because of the magnificance of the outside.We had a coffee in there.
I think it used to be a court house,they had prison cells in there.
This is a wonderful listed building. Located just down from Lime Street and on the verge if the city centre it is a fantastic way of finding out about the history of St. George's Hall.

We queued for an hour to see the sleeping giant. It's good from the outside, with statues of interest. But inside is fabulous. With an amazing ceiling and giant organ. Great to go up into the gallery too
Been here twice in the last couple of weeks. Once to visit the Vegan Festival (they have it here twice a year) and just come out from seeing the "Boy Giant" having a snooze in the great hall.

Part of a world heritage site, the St Georges Hall complex is close to the railway station. It contains a magnificent concert hall with a historic pipe organ by Henry Willis, also contains a crown court and in the basement are cells for prisoners.
