Good for little ones and inexpensive too. Nice for the kids to be able to feed the pigs, goats, sheep and chickens. Didn't use the restaurant but did buy some fresh laid eggs. Nice that the farm workers have learning disabilities and are gaining skills and confidence in a real work environment.

Thank you for giving us a four star review. We're so pleased you enjoyed your visit. The people supported at Acorn farm work hard to keep the site clean and tidy and also of course looking after the animals, they are a great group of people and teach us a lot every day about challenges and having a positive attitude.... Good little farm to take the kids, you can feed the pigs and chickens and there is a little park too. To be honest you can only spend a couple of hours here max but this is reflected in the price as it's only a few quid to get in

Thanks for your review Christopher. How long visitors stay can depend on the time of year, sometimes people make a day of it with lunch in the café or a picnic lunch and the children can spend a few hours in the play area, do a horse ride and go in the small animal petting pavilion too. We keep our... More

we often go here, mainly when its sunny. The place is like a small farm with tots attractions/rides. The food is cooked with their own ingredients such as goat cheese etc' If you have a couple of hours and short of an idea where to take the children, this is well worth a visit. Charity run, hence the admission fee.... More

Thanks for giving us four stars after your recent visit. We try and keep our prices as low as possible as we are very aware that a family day out can become very expensive. The animals are always very happy to be fed by our visitors, especially the cheeky sheep and goats, it's amazing how many visitors come back for... More

Thanks for your lovely review Monica and for giving us 5 Stars. Halloween was such good fun, we had a great time and it was lovely to see so many visitors enjoying the event too. The Haunted House might have been a little scary for younger children but as it was in a different area to the games it was... More

What a lovely little farm this is! Very easy to find and good value for money - only a couple of quid per adult. Fairly small parking area at the front, however, there is an overflow car park near by which is easily sign posted. You purchase the tickets (sticker badges) inside the little shop area which also sells food... More

My eldest daughter (3) loves coming here. Being allowed to get so close to the animals is really good, especially being allowed to feed the goats and chickens (you have to pay for the feed, but it's not expensive). It's not a big site, but there are plenty of animals to take in. Personal favourites are the pigs, who never... More

Thank you for your review Neil D - your comment about the pigs made us laugh out loud. There is a lot of mud which our pigs seem to particularly enjoy wallowing in, as every good pig should really! We hope you come back and see us soon More

Excellent idea, a farm in an urban area, so local kids can learn about these things. Easy to find (sign posted) and enjoyable day out with plenty to see and do.
