A former school tucked away in the city center. One of the oldest and most attractive buildings in Liverpool now plays host to contemporary art and performance displays. The rear secret garden is a tranquil, picturesque place to take a breather from the surrounding hubbub.

I was excited to visit this place being an art lover and it was high on my to do list when in Liverpool, but I only spent 20mins here and found it very uninteresting and lacking excitement and creativity.

a building tucked away in the heart of the city - wonderful architecture, great to see the building having multiple uses, retail and a nice cafe to have a decent coffee

It is a little basic for some people but we found it to be perfect. Our last few visits to Liverpool have centred here at lunch time. Soup was very nice. Other options available if one is even more hungry.

We only stopped off briefly at the Bluecoat but were impressed with the building and activities conducted within. Their cafeteria offers good value snacks and drinks

Called here to see the building, and found quite a few small shops to experience. Wonderful old building and grounds to see.
