Calderstones park is, in my humble opinion, the loveliest part of Liverpool. If you are heading out to see John Lennon's house, or Strawberry Field, do yourself a favour and have a stroll around the park too.

Amazing family day out. Love it in the summer when they have the beach. You must visit the ice cream parlour - even in winter they do a great waffle.
