- LightPacker7906886 contributionsFantastic Legends TourWe went on the Legends Tour today, guided by Elle and Mark, who are both very knowledgeable and entertaining. The tour was excellent and ended with two legends Gary Stevens and Mark Higgins sharing their stories from their stellar careers. This was a brilliant experience and one that any Evertonian would love. Thank you so much to Elle, Mark and Gary for making it so enjoyable and a day to remember. We loved it!Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 6 October 2023

Was great to see various hospitality areas, press room, changing rooms and of course the stadium from pitch level and the stands. If you're a football fan, I would definitely recommend it before Everton move.Visited October 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 8 October 2023

It was like a pilgrimage and a homecoming to come back home. The whole guide for the stadium tour was amazing with a great guide, lily barnes who was so accommodating and was great to tell the story of this historic club.Visited October 2023Travelled soloWritten 20 October 2023
- Steve H3 contributionsA great day. This was a brilliant stadium tour and highly recommended. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The tour guides were fantastic, knowledgeable and engaging. This is a tour that should be undertaken before the grand old lady goes forever. it's a must do for Everton supporters and anyone else with a passion for the game and history.Visited October 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 24 October 2023
- thomashG7803BR5 contributionsFootball ground steeped in historyTook the opportunity to visit as before long with the new stadium on the way this will become a lost ground. Friendly welcome on arrival, our guides were really informative, the older lady gave us a brilliant little story of the beginnings of Everton FC. She slightly amended 1985 story to suit someone not knowing football so much 😆 definitely not the European Cup that Everton won, and gave indication FA Cup Final a few days after their European victory was hastily arranged 😁😁 But that aside the two ladies do a grand job, only disappointment was not getting a view from the balcony. Any football fan should take in the tour. Thanks Ladies 👏👏👏👏Visited October 2023Travelled with familyWritten 26 October 2023
- Quintus PLondon, United Kingdom5 contributionsSpirit of the Blues!EVERTONNNNN! Absolutely brilliant first match watching Everton at Goodison Park. We arrived on Everton's own fan soccer bus from Liverpool city centre and walked around The Toffee Shop. After that, we had a walk around the stadium and a quick visit to the Holy Trinity statue. We went into the Goodison Church where we visited the unofficial Everton Archives which were amazing. After this we visited the FanZone and got a cone of chips and some ketchup. Now, here's the only bad bit. We started walking towards our turnstile when suddenly we got caught in a crowd crush. We were stuck in this for about 15 minutes, which annoyingly meant we missed the very start of Z-Cars, when all the players walk out. We did get to see most of the players walk out and see the tribute to Bill Kenwright. Then the players went back to their halves and the game began. We won 3-0 against Burnley, which was an amazing result! The reason for the crush was that the e ticket system was faulting and the turnstiles were not functioning properly. Everton then apologised for the issue in a Twitter message the next day. But that didn't really matter to me. I was really happy with the experience I had at Goodison and I had a great day. Cheers to the blues 💙Visited November 2023Travelled with familyWritten 3 November 2023

We'd walked to have a look at Bramley Moore Dock earlier in the day so it was a really perfect day for a lifelong Evertonian. Our hosts, Will and Ron, were absolutely pitch perfect; friendly, knowledgeable, great stalwarts of, and ambassadors for, the Club and gave the whole thing the welcome and family feel the Club has always exuded. Loved all of the tour elements and it felt a real privilege, but I personally would have loved some time to stop and look at the team photos in the lobby on the way out to the Directors seats...at least 2 hours preferably!Visited November 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 10 November 2023

- Adventure21947390970Dublin, Ireland2 contributionsA must for Everton fansCame over from Dublin last weekend, the girlfriend got me the tour for my birthday and it's turned out to be the best present I've ever received. Saturated in the history as soon as you enter the ground, the tour guide Ella is a scream and brilliant at what she does, and it's topped off with the knowledge of former club captain Mark Higgins, a man knee deep in Everton for many years and a lovely man to boot. Also got a Q&A with Ian Snodin, Mark Higgins and Normam Whiteside after the tour which was really interesting. They 3 men were more than delighted to chat about their careers and affiliation with Everton. This is a must for toffees fans.Visited November 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 29 November 2023

I am not a fan of football but I visited the stadium with my nephew and was greeted with a warm welcome. Lily gave an interesting tour and to have real ex players Mark Higgins around was wonderful - showed the real passion and commitment and held mine and my nephews attention. Staff really went the extra mile, allowing plenty of photos including with the trophy and a gift for the kids at the end (and thanks to the guy on reception for digging out a special programme for my nephew) - a lovely family orientated tour - much enjoyed and I recommend!

My Best Friend Paul, and I, are Lifelong Evertonians, but neither of us had done the Tour of Goodison Park - until this Afternoon that is!
There are 2 types of Tour available; the Standard Tour, and the Legends Tour (where your Tour Guide is a Former Player). We chose the Standard Tour, which cost us £15 each. Booking is simple and is complete within a few Minutes; you can either Book Online via The Official Everton Website, or by phoning The Club directly.
Upon arrival at Everton Reception, we were politely greeted, provided with our Tour Lanyards (which also entitle you to 20% off Purchases at the, "Everton One" Souvenir Shop) and shown to the Match Sponsor's Lounge (the Meeting Point for all Tour Participants), where we were met by our 2 brilliant Tour Guides, Lily and Ellie, both of whom were really welcoming, friendly, approachable, humorous, and extremely knowledgeable.
As well as the Match Sponsor's Lounge, The Tour took in The 1878 Lounge, Media Centre, Directors Box, Main Reception, Home and Away Dressing Rooms, Players Tunnel, and the Home and Away Technical Areas. You are able to take Photos throughout, and encouraged to ask questions if necessary.
To further enhance The Tour Experience, Lily and Ellie utilised their impressive Knowledge of Everton Football Club to inform us about The Club's History, Past Players, interesting Club Facts, and relevant Information relating to the Areas we visited. At the end of The Tour, everyone received a Certificate to say that they had done The Tour, which was a lovely touch.
My favourite parts of the Tour were, holding a replica of The FA Cup, and walking down The Players Tunnel with the, "Z-Cars" Theme playing (it made the hairs on the back of my Neck stand on end!).
The Tour lasted for about 90 Minutes. I cannot recommend it highly enough, and will definitely be doing it again at some point.
Keep up the great work, Lily, Ellie, and Everton Football Club.

My fiance and I went to the Everton Stadium Tour on Sunday 2nd Feb. He is a die hard Everton fan and season ticket holder, whilst I can take or leave football. That said having been led on the tour by Elle and Lily I can honestly say it was fantastic. Both ladies where so informative and more importantly clearly so passionate about the club..honestly the best £30 we have spent in a long time...we would highly recommend it xx

From start to finish this tour was absolutely amazing. My 2 teenage daughters , mum and dad were on the tour. Purchased as a birthday present for my dad (aged 87) Lily, our guide and the true legend Mark Higgins went above and beyond to make the tour special, nothing was too much trouble, Mark encouraged our tour group to take lots of photos, Lily gave lots of insight into the club’s history and they both went out of their way to welcome us all. Lily’s informative talks were not only factual but full of humour too, what a gem Lily is! My dad was in awe throughout the tour, to be able to see the press room, changing rooms etc is fantastic, it has provided him with such special memories which he will cherish forever. You can tell the passion that both Mark and Lily have for Everton, I feel very privileged to have met them and can’t thank them enough for such a special day. I would absolutely recommend taking this tour, also worth pointing out that my mum who struggles with mobility accompanied us, lifts were available and the whole tour was easy and accessible for her to manage. Thank you Mark and Lily for being truly wonderful. Could I please also give a great big shout out to the wonderful gentleman on reception when we arrived, greeted with the biggest smile, lovely welcome and also security checked my bag which is very reassuring given the challenging times we face at the moment. Loved every minute :)

Great trip for us and two of our grandchildren resplendent in their Everton kit. The tour was very enlightening for me as I know nothing about the club unlike my husband and grandchildren.
It was pitched perfectly for a mixed audience by the tour guides Bernie and Ron who were extremely knowledgeably, amiable and great fun. Thanks to them for assigning Emily & George as captains to lead the tour out onto the pitch, it made their visit complete.
Would thoroughly recommend for all.

I did this tour 2/3 with my little boy (2) and my wife.
The tour lasted for 1.5 hours and they showed us everything from the boardroom to the changing room and pitchside. The tour guides (Ron and Bernie) were full of knowledge and it their passion for the club shone through. Could tell they took great pride in what they were talking about.
They took the time to make it extra special for my little boy giving him Seamus Colemans Captains armband and to lead the group out to Z cars (with the siren!) Im not sure I've seen him (or me) smile like that before!
Anyone who is a fan or remotely interested in Everton - I couldn't recommend this tour enough! I will 100% return when my lad is a little older - to further cement hos obsession :)
Thank you Everton - We really are the peoples club. COYB

Arranged as a surprise for the young person I support within my role as a support worker. He was so excited and he thoroughly enjoyed it. He needs to use a wheelchair and every effort was made, by the Goodson Park staff, that he experienced the full experience. The staff were very accommodating and kind and made sure he had a great time. The staff are very knowledgeable and were great story tellers, kept everyone’s attention. Lots of photo opportunities and we never felt rushed to get on with the tour. Mark Higgins, a retired Everton captain was there to chaperone everyone around the tour, he had some great antidotes about his time as a player, he was also extremely thoughtful towards the young person I was supporting in the trip. I am actually a Liverpool supporter and I will still highly recommend this tour. Great job guys x

I loved the tunnel walk and have a video of my children walking out to zcars something i will never forget. The children loved the changing rooms with the cup and the shirts all in place.
we had lily and big appoligies i cant remeber the gentlemans name as the guides (old age kicking in) both are an absolute credit to the tour and our club and not to forget the gentleman sat at reception who greeted everyone and started the day off and finished it with a smile.

We travelled as a family of Irish Toffee's, that included 3 generations of Blues, from age 70 down to age 6, to Goodison Park for the Everton v Spurs game on Mon. 3rd April 2023.
We stayed overnight to do the stadium tour on Tuesday morning and we all enjoyed it very much. It was well worth doing.
When we entered the Dixie Dean reception area we were met by Will and Roy who were our guides for the tour. They gave us a very warm welcome and and our tour langers before guiding us on a very interesting tour of this very historic stadium. They were very knowledgeable about all things Everton and gave us a very entertaining history of Everton which include lovely tales and anecdotes about Everton legends such as Dixie Dean, Brian Labone, Ted Sagar, Howard Kendall, Harry Catterick and many more. They told us about Pele and Eusebio playing in Goodison in the 1966 world cup and described how great an occasion that was. They also told us what Goodison will be like when the stadium is no more and the great plans in store for the area. Everton will leave a rich legacy and will always be The People's Club.
Our tour took us into matchday hospitality areas, the press room, home and away dressing rooms, upper and lower deck of the Main Stand, and down the tunnel that the players take to enter the pitch. We were so thrilled to enter the stadium to the strains of the famous sirens and Z Cars theme. It gave us a real match day feel.
We weren't allowed to go on the pitch itself, but we were in the small area in front of the dugouts and close to where Harry Kane's, by now, infamous theatrics the night before, took place. Our younger members loved that. We were very lucky that we had a lovely sunny day and saw the stadium at it's very best...all that wonderful Blue, not forgetting the fabulous green pitch.
When we were finished, Will and Roy brought us back to the Dixie Dean Reception area and presented us with our certificates for completing the tour. We kept our tour langers which allowed us 10% discount on most merchandise in the shop.
The tour took about an hour and a half and we were absolutely thrilled. We wanted to stay longer. We'd have loved more time to view all the photos on the walls, but unfortunately all good things must come to an end.
We thanked Will and Roy for their hospitality and promised we'd be back before Goodison Park is demolished and Everton move to their new ground at Bramley Moore Dock. We hope Will and Roy will be there to guide us around the new stadium also.

I booked this for my husband’s birthday and we both had a really enjoyable time. The two people conducting the tour were friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We saw everything we wanted and had plenty of opportunities to take photos and ask questions. The 20% discount at the shop was also very much appreciated and we took advantage of that. Hi there how long does the tour take these days? Looking to book a train back to Scotland after it and I am on the 1pm tour. Thanks in advance.
Written 21 March 2022
The tour is normally booked to take one hour but the one I was on took an hour and a half because of questions
On tour days there are normally three tours
The first is at 11.30 the second at 13.00 and the last at 14.30
The guides were exceptionally knowledgeable
They did say that because of the move to Bramley Moore certain items normally on display have been packed away but don't let this put you off
Just enjoy the experience of being there because you won't be able to tour Goodison for much longer!
