This trip was bought for me by my daughter for my birthday. I have been meaning to do this fore years especially now the grand old lady is in her last years. Myself and my 19 year old son went on the tour although he isn't an Everton fan. I first saw Everton play in 1977 and was hooked from day one and to now walk around its corridors was excellent. The two guides were great and very knowledgeable of the history of the club. If i am honest there is not s great deal on show as the past history has not been glowing and the trophy cabinet had the cannon one league trophy and the European cup winners cup in it. The trophy room has been turned into the 1985 suite and is three to make more money. after this suite you go into the 1878 suite which is not much different. You sit in the press room in Lampards seat, you go in the directors box and the dressing room. when you go out pitch side the Z cars theme is playing as you enter the tunnel and that was the best bit for me. I am a life long Everton fan and just to walk around this beautiful old football stadium was a treat i should have done a long time ago. You can feel the history and imaging the greats that have walked through it in over a hundred years of history. There were only 11 exec boxes where old Trafford has 146 which shows why a new ground is needed. It will be a sad day when it goes and this short but memorable tour shows why. I still feel this is a special club and is for the people and have gained happy memories and photos from this visit that i can look back on when it has gone.

Arranged as a surprise for the young person I support within my role as a support worker. He was so excited and he thoroughly enjoyed it. He needs to use a wheelchair and every effort was made, by the Goodson Park staff, that he experienced the full experience. The staff were very accommodating and kind and made sure he had a great time. The staff are very knowledgeable and were great story tellers, kept everyone’s attention. Lots of photo opportunities and we never felt rushed to get on with the tour. Mark Higgins, a retired Everton captain was there to chaperone everyone around the tour, he had some great antidotes about his time as a player, he was also extremely thoughtful towards the young person I was supporting in the trip. I am actually a Liverpool supporter and I will still highly recommend this tour. Great job guys x

A tour led by excellent, knowledgeable guides. Really worth a visit. Not obvious how to get in so I went round the exterior in an anti clockwise direction, so I enjoyed the History panels. I did the Tottenham Hotspur tour a few weeks previously, it shows why Everton need that new Stadium for the Hospitality income. Sorry, but in a different League as an impressive stadium. I await the tour at the new Stadium, I will be doing one.

Outstanding event, very friendly reception from the moment you walk in, an experience that will stay with my grandson until the end of his days. The guides were very warm and approachable adding to the overall experience. For me just being allowed access to places I only dreamed of since being a boy was fantastic.Highly recommended!

Had a brilliant tour of Everton Football Club Goodison park today.
There is a lot of history to EFC that I was unaware of, this is an enjoyable telling of the History and Legacy of this wonderful club.
The tour of the stadium is a real eye opener and the tour of the players areas is interesting.
A thoroughly good and inexpensive way to spend one and a half hours.
Well done EFC.

A great family experience! The tour guides were very informative, friendly and easy to talk to. You could tell they loved the club. It was interesting learning all about the history of the club.
Plenty of photograph opportunities throughout the tour, with tour guides offering to take family photographs for us.
We had this tour bought for us as a birthday gift and would highly recommend.

Hi there how long does the tour take these days? Looking to book a train back to Scotland after it and I am on the 1pm tour. Thanks in advance.

The tour is normally booked to take one hour but the one I was on took an hour and a half because of questions
On tour days there are normally three tours
The first is at 11.30 the second at 13.00 and the last at 14.30
The guides were exceptionally knowledgeable
They did say that because of the move to Bramley Moore certain items normally on display have been packed away but don't let this put you off
Just enjoy the experience of being there because you won't be able to tour Goodison for much longer!

They only do them during the closed season (end of football season) but if you visit the Everton website they are always advertising on there.
Do a Goodison tour also as they’ve just renovated there.
