Family of four ages 12-43, thoroughly enjoyed the experience, would book again and have told friends to book. My husband has done other virtual reality experiences and he said what was better about this one was the hosts - they made you feel welcome and knew exactly how to guide you through the different games and when to leave you to it. A nice touch is that they can send you videos of what you’ve done! There was a huge variety of games to choose from - something for everyone. Great for families, a group of friends, work bonding session, birthday party, random Thursdays, or just because. I think that a voucher for here is a great idea for a present.

We had a fantastic visit at VR:VE, the staff were knowledgeable, really helpful and friendly. We visited as a family group, two adults and three kids from 10-13 and we all had great fun. There were games suited to every age and ability which the staff explained brilliantly. It was the perfect balance of instruction and freedom to play. Top tip, wear socks, shoes must be removed. Great value and brilliant fun, we could happily have stayed for another hour!

Great fun we went as a group last month, family starting from age 10 up to adults. First time here. The couple who run this are lovely. They are so helpful and accommodating. The games are really good especially walking the plank, very funny! Will definitely be going back soon.

The Plank is definitely one of the favourite experiences at the VRVE. It shows what VR is all about. The mind thinking it’s 100 floors up even though you know you are on the floor.

The experience is great, especially when watching others walk the plank. You get a good few laughs if this is someone's first time using VR and the best bit is they film it all and give the videos to you for free.
Definitely worth going, but next time I'm in Liverpool I'll have to bring more people and book 2 hours instead of 1 cause it goes so quick! Highly recommend you try it out, and if you arrive too early like I did there is a nice cafe a few doors down, easily missed but does some nice food (with free wi-fi to boot).

The Plank experience is one of the favourites for sure as different people have so many reactions to it. It’s funny, exciting and terrifying all at once.
Thank you for the kind words about your experience as it will help others who are contemplating a VR experience for the first time.
People think it’s for children and gamers etc, but in reality we get more older groups and generations of family. A great way to spend an hour or two.

This experience was SO much fun! My hubby & I booked this experience as apart of our anniversary trip away and wanted to try something fun & new, well this VR experience did not disappoint.
On arrival I was feeling slightly nervous since it was the first time we had ever experienced this level of gaming and was worried about feeling embarrassed about my actions when having the headset on or possibly walking into a wall. Once we stepped inside the room all of that anxiety disappeared the staff are extremely welcoming and friendly, which put me at ease straight away.
I loved how the staff stayed with us throughout the whole time and helped guide us through different games to get the most out of the hour we had booked. First we got to watch each other try it out - which is hilarious - and then we could challenge each other, as well as team up and play together. we must have played a total of 6 different games but there is an overwhelming amount of choice. My personal favourite was Vader Immortal, if your in anyway a Star Wars fan then you must try it, it will blow your mind. I could have easily spent an hour playing this game alone!
We can't wait to try this experience again!

great experience. Not only was the VR aspect really cool and immersive, Ian met the whole experience that much better, he was really attentive and kind.
Loads of games to choose from at all level of difficulties so there is something for everyone. If you are quite tall (I'm 6 3), you might find yourself touching the ceiling when you're in a climb up game but its not really an issue. Would recommend - £20 each for two people for 1 hour is a great price for this.

My son said it was his best birthday party ever… and his friends agreed.
6 12 year olds were captivated from the first minute to the last. However so we’re the adults! We were even given a chance to have a go ourselves in another room.
They can’t do enough for you and each member of staff is knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic.

Unbelievable Experience !!
Purchasing The VRVE vouchers as christmas gifts for some of the family, it certainly did not dissapoint!
From start to finish, each player enjoyed somthing unique about thier time, adults and the kids.
The hosts, Ian & Sarah and the rest of the team could not do enough for us all and made sure we made the most of each game and experience.
The room was none stop full of laughs, questionable screams and sound effects!
We all had an amazing time and 100% will be back..the kids are already planning their birthday trip!

Booked to keep the teen happy as he was getting a bit bored with our city sightseeing! Found it online and it was £80 for the 5 of us for 1 hour which we didn’t think was bad as it was a private room. Booking was easy on the website and we found the venue easily, we arrived (I don’t mind admitting to being a little apprehensive 😬) and we had a briefing and were shown how the equipment works, we all then had a go at walking the plank (omg I was petrified even though I knew it wasn’t real 🙈🤣) then we were all given our own headsets and had an hour to explore the games and experiences on offer. We expected to be left alone in the room to get on with it but were pleasantly surprised to have the guys who run it in with us checking on how we were doing and helping out and also videoing us, which they then air dropped to us straight after we were done! An hour goes very quickly and I would definitely do it again! It was worth every penny!
Thanks to the guys at the VRVE for making it an experience to remember ( I will be deleting the videos of me boxing though haha)!

You walk in then BOOM super nice staff member greets you and kindly directs you to the VR room and wow was it an experience! Amazing starter activity where you walk a plank… of a skyscraper (not IRL). Then you get your headset and of you go. Best hour I’ve had in a long time! (Might I recommend superhot fabulous workout and reaction time game) until I get a vr headset I’ll be going there to feed my need for VR 😄😄.

Great review and kind words. Getting headset yourself is a short term fix though as you have to share with your mates. Come back to us and get great choice of games, no sharing and large space with soft floor to jump around on.
We hope to see you again soon when we get even more new games.
