- pferrelliSomerville, Massachusetts165 contributionsGreat music spot on Mathew StreetWe popped in here on a Wednesday night to watch Paul Kappa and the Amazing Kappa Band. There was no cover charge to get in. The whole place is covered with amazing memorabilia and was very clean. Drinks were reasonably priced and the staff was very friendly. The bouncers are very alert and made us feel very safe. All in all, if you're looking for a place for some drinks and some great local music, this is the place to go!Visited June 2023Written 6 August 2023
- Iain DDalton-in-Furness, United Kingdom196 contributionsGotta visit for a pintPopped in as it’d just opened and we’d just left the Cavern Club next door. We were the only people in to start with but quite happy to chat to barman have a pint and admire yet MORE music memorabilia on the walls, as a bit of a “Muso” myself and playing guitar (Badly!) I just LOVED the whole experience. When we left there were a few more people coming in and I would imagine when there’s live music on this is a really cool venue to go.Visited December 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 19 December 2023
- Mel BWolverhampton, United Kingdom107 contributionsGreat venueWe went to the Monday club and we weren't disappointed at all. We saw 5 different up and coming and a couple of round the block proper entertaining guitarists, including a guy I think is called Barry Jones and he sang a song called (wheres me sausage) so funny and we joined in the chorus with all the expletives and it's was brilliant( don't go if you are narrow minded or easily offended FFS. Thanks for a great first night! The returned the following evening to see Tony Skeg . This guy is brilliant plying guitarists and asking the audience to call.out a song for him to play and getting you to join in. Absolutely Brill entertaining musician and singer! This was a throughly awful experience. The bar staff are rude, aggressive and untrustworthy. Very intimidating towards women.

If you like good music then this is the place to be, Tony Skeggs is a must on a Friday night, what a very talented musician, not a song he cant play and doesn't need fancy equipment or i pad for words, just him and a guitar, FABULOUS!!

Looked OK inside but the barman was incredibly rude and aggressive he was on his own and boy did he let us know it. Walked out as his attitude was beyond awful. He either needs retraining or a new job, preferably one not in the service industry. Would never go back.

It is open from midday and have live music in the afternoons at the weekends and I know children are allowed as I have seen some but please be aware that music is quite loud as is live. I do not think and have never seen anybody under 16 at night. Saturday afternoons are very good and have been there many times with live music starting about 2.30pm. At night there is also live music
