Looking forward to visiting the 17th of May.
May 2021 • Friends
Prime Minister Boris has laid down the roadmap out of the pandemic for the hard hit hospitality sector with pubs being allowed to reopen on the 12th of April with outside service only and from the 17th of May inside and outside service allowed and by June 21st more or less back to normality so it will be great once again to visit pubs such as The Globe Pub ,a pub I've been drinking in since I starting visiting pubs many ,many years ago .
A wonderful, traditional pub serving great real ale's, its the pub we're the C.A.M.R.A branch of Liverpool was founded in 1974 .
At the moment its currently closed but will be open again when inside and outside service is permitted, I can't wait till that date,I will be one of the first customers through the door enjoying a real ale.
The Globe Pub is easy to locate along Cases Street, most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Awesome pub .

My twin brother Stephen and I visited The Globe Pub just after the 1st coronavirus pandemic lockdown restrictions were lifted and pre tier three coronavirus pandemic restrictions that ultimately led to the 2nd lockdown and what a great time we had.
I love the look of this pub ,eclectic decor and furnishings, this two roomed Victorian pub is so cosy ,the main room is dominated by a solid wood serving bar and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, its a wonderful historic pub,opened in 1888 and was in fact the pub that the Liverpool branch of C.A.M.R.A was formed in the back room of the pub in 1974,there's a plaque on the wall that commemorates this momentous occasion in the Liverpool beer scene .
My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a Saturday early afternoon, greeted with a smile by a very pleasant member of the staff, we gave our details of name and phone number to assist with the governments track and trace system and then sanitised our hands ,after a quick study of their real ale's we both opted to have Timothy Taylors " landlord " and these were served in excellent condition, we took our pale ale's into the back room were we just kicked back, chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our pale ale's.
My pale ale was really good, a crisp,amber ,well balanced pale ale, hints of toffee, a big hit of hops, very easy to drink, a pale ale style both myself and my twin brother Stephen are particularly fond of, it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a quality brew.
We both really enjoyed our pale ale's in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time.
The Globe Pub is easy to locate, from Liverpool Central Railway Station exit onto Ranelagh Street and its tucked down Cases Street.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Saturday, 11am till 11pm.
Sunday, 11am till 10.30pm.
Till 2nd December all pubs ,bars and restaurants in the UK are closed due to the 2nd lockdown, cant wait for it to reopen and enjoy some quality real ale's in this historic pub.

Lynn and staff are great. We were recommended to go here from a friend in Scotland. We were two couples from Ayrshire and Glasgow, made to feel very welcome indeed and the locals were lovely too, Would totally recommend a wee when in Liverpool :-)

A proper traditional pub
Aug 2020
We were curious to come here after reading about the sloping floor. This is a pleasant and quaint/cosy pub with a nice, traditional atmosphere. The place was slightly cramped and it was therefore difficult to maintain social distancing in the place, particularly around the area of the ladies' toilet. We were also not asked for our contact details for the purposes of track and trace.

The Globe On Cases Street Is One Of The Best Cask Ale Pubs In The City Centre And Was The Pub Where In 1974 The Liverpool Branch Of C.A.M.R.A Was Founded And Is Commemorated By A Plaque In The Back Room.Built In 1888 This Tiny Two Roomed Victorian Pub With Its Sloping Floor Has A Tastefully Refurbished Interior Which Was Completed In 2012.The Interior In Superb With Stained Glass Windows And Leather Bench Seating And Wood Panelling And A Superb Bar.There Are Plenty Of Interesting Fixtures And Features Relating To All The History Around This Area Of Liverpool And Is The Perfect Pub To Enjoy A Few Beers.I Came Here Before We Caught Our Train To Kirkby And After Giving All Our Details For The Track And Trace We Took Our Seat In The Main Room And Ordered A Couple Of Glasses Of Timothy Taylor's Landlord Ale Which Were Excellent And Well Priced.This Is A Great Pub With Excellent Fixtures And Is The Ideal Pub To Have A Few Beers And A Pub Well Worth Visiting.A Very Easy Pub To Find From Central Train Station Cross Ranelagh Street And The Globe Is On The Right By Clayton Square Shopping Centre.

Real ale oasis.
May 2020 • Friends
The streets around The Globe Pub near Central Railway Station are packed with pubs and bars ,all are really good pubs and bars but all serving the same endemic beers and ciders ,The Globe Pub bucks the trend as it has from 1974 by serving a great range of real ale's, is it not surprising that the Liverpool branch of C.A.M.R.A was formed in this pub in 1974.
I love the look of this pub ,a small narrow pub,two roomed ,a solid wood serving bar, eclectic decor and furnishings and despite its relatively small size theres plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, its a great pub to unwind in.
My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a Thursday night, pub was very busy and bustling with a great atmosphere, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff, after a quick study of their real ales my brother went for Timothy Taylor's Brewery " boltmaker " while I opted for Wainwrights Brewery " pale ale " and both these real ale's were served in excellent condition, we very luckily managed to get a table were we just kicked back,chilled out and took in the great pub we were in.
My pale ale was exceptional, a crisp,light pale ale bursting with taste, a great aroma and a big hit of hops,very easy to drink,a real ale style I really enjoy, my twin brother Stephen also gave me a thumbs up to his real ale.
We both really enjoyed our real ales in here and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time.
The Globe Pub is easy to locate along Cases Street facing Liverpool Central Railway Station.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Sunday, 11am till 11pm.

Quaint little pub

Thought we’d try here for a pint as it looked a throwback to a pub from a time long gone. Was a lovely little quaint, nostalgic pub. The barmaid could not have been friendlier either, would recommend for a quiet pint
