I recently attended a night at Laughterhouse Comedy in Liverpool and had a fantastic time. The venue is small and intimate, which creates a really friendly and relaxed atmosphere. It’s the perfect setting for a night of laughs.

A special shout-out goes to the host, Chris Cairns, who was brilliant from start to finish. His sharp wit and natural ability to interact with the audience made for some hilarious moments between acts. He kept the energy high and really made everyone feel welcome.

The lineup of comedians was solid, with a great mix of performers that kept the audience entertained throughout the evening. Every act brought something different, and the variety of styles worked well.

If you're in Liverpool and looking for a fun, lighthearted evening, I’d definitely recommend checking it out. It’s a great spot for some laughs and a relaxed night out!

This is one of the best comedy clubs I've ever been to. It's a great size and you are so close to the comedians you can practically touch them when they are on stage. It was a great night. The comedians were fab, very funny. I love the variety of comedians, you see some new ones as well as familiar faces off the telly. The compare is hilarious I almost wet myself.

We've just had another incredible night at Liverpool’s top comedy venue, The Slaughterhouse!

With a fantastic pub upstairs with loads of live music and an outstanding comedy club below, it’s the perfect spot for a night out. The comedy club has its own bar, toilets, and just the right number of seats to create an electric atmosphere.

I've been coming here for over 20 years, and it never disappoints—whether I’m out with my mates or my Mrs.

Chris Cairns is absolutely hilarious! Whether he’s hosting or performing, he always delivers proper belly laughs.

True comedy at its finest, as a scouser and knowing Liverpool as well as I do, a comedy gig at laughterhouse is the best way to kick off a big night out with the lads or a after food tipple with the Mrs. The two comperes Chris and Neil who are local comedians adored by many always kick off the shows with a bang and the acts that follow them all get the introductions and when finished the plaudits they quite frankly deserve. I've been to the show multiple times in the last two years and it never disappoints, it's nice to escape from the stress we can all go through in our everyday life and come out with a smile on your face having seen the most talented upcoming comedians that this country has to offer.
Get your arse down to the comedy club and then go upstairs afterwards and get on the live music and belter atmosphere.
I couldn't recommend a better place, do it 👍🏻

I haven’t laughed so much.
We went as a family with all age groups (over 18)
We were actually out celebrating a memorial birthday for my Mum. She would have loved watching her 80 year old sister squirming at the front of the stage with the funniest questions being put to her. He knew how to pick his audience. He knew she’d play along as did the rest of the family. It was an absolutely brilliant night finished off with the live band upstairs. Top top night. Would highly recommend. We chose this one as it was still a hive of actively in the surrounding area to keep the night going after there.

Brilliant night at the Laughterhouse Comedy Club tonight 🤣 to celebrate one of our besties 50th 🥳🥳 birthday 🎂.
The comedy was top tier, had us giggling from the get go, with the seamless thread of belly laughs induced by MC Chris Cairns 🤣🤣🤣.
Will definitely be back for more. 💯

Love this venue and the acts are so funny. I've been to the Laughterhouse lots of times and they always have great acts on, I've seen Tom Stade here, Phil Nichols, Neil Fitzmaurice and John Bishop. The resident compare Chris Cairns is just brilliant. Highly recommend for a fun start the night.

Fantastic!
We laughed from going in to coming back out.
The MC was as funny as the acts.
Saw 3 great guys, who were all very good, can’t remember the name but our favourite was the Matthew Kelly lookalike!
Drinks were very reasonably priced.
