- MrsNortonLiverpool, United Kingdom2 contributionsCheeks and sides hurt from laughingWhat an amazing place, we are so lucky to have this in liverpool. The staff are friendly and welcoming from the off, ready to get you seated in the intimate setting which could be intimidating if the atmosphere was different but there was no worries there. The MC last night (Chris Cairns) was one of the most effortlessly funny people I have ever seen. He made the night, to be perfectly honest. I would happily go an watch a full hour of his stand up and my time would be well spent doing so. That's not to say the comics were bad, by the way. Far from it. We got the pleasure of seeing Liam Farrelly, Russell Arathoon and Tom Wrigglesworth. All of them had us in stitches. Very different acts from one another but none of them failed to have the room killing themselves laughing throughout. Honestly, if you fancy a night full of laughter go here. No one holds back, it is one of the best nights I have had in a long time!Visited February 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 19 February 2023
- Pamela H1 contributionBrilliant as per…I’ve been going to the laughter house for years and it never disappoints. I’ve taken everyone from my best friend to my mam and belly laughed each time. Easy booking, looked after throughout and always leave feeling million times happier than when I went in!Visited February 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 19 February 2023
- Brian DLiverpool, United Kingdom8 contributionsGreat comedy night in LiverpoolWe visited on a Friday night, there were a couple of stag parties in, which could have spoiled our night, luckily the M.C. Chris Cairns is an expert in dealing with divvies and shut them down pretty quickly! The 3 other comedians Lovdev Barpaga, Gareth Waugh and Sully O’Sullivan, were really funny, they excelled despite the stag party interruptions and actually included the father of the bride in the taking down of his son-in-law to be! The bar staff were very friendly and the beer was reasonably priced! If you're after a good night out in Liverpool then The Laughter House is a great place to start! At the end of the night upstairs there was a singer playing a guitar, so we stuck around for a few more drinks! Nice place and good atmosphere!Visited March 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 19 March 2023
- GMNO1FANWirral, United Kingdom738 contributionsLovely, Staff, Venue & LaughI have had a great evening. from arrival, the doorman was friendly and full of banter, the bar staff was friendly and speedy with service, the venue was clean along with toilets, the comedians that took to the stage also very funny, well done for showing visitors to Liverpool a good night. It is also a two minute walk to James Street train stationVisited July 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 22 July 2023
- David T2 contributionsTop drawer comedy.Been to a few comedy shows in liverpool and for me personally this one tops them all, really intimate location more so if you’re on the front row or sides as you’re practically on the stage, great atmosphere and some of the funniest comedians I’ve seen live. Definitely worth a visit even if it’s just to see the devilishly handsome compare who is a very very funny man, Chris is also on ( he’s the best host but don’t tell him) honestly anyone reading this if you’ve not been to one of the shows then make the effort to as you wont be left disappointed. 10/10Visited July 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 25 July 2023
- CurlsgaloreLiverpool, United Kingdom28 contributionsGreat start to the night! Can’t tell you what a great start to anyone’s night it is coming to this club! The energy of Neil Fitz is incredible and enough to get the crowd buzzing. Chris Cairns is incredible and another homegrown talent. This is a ‘must’ for everyone looking for a good start to their night out couples, groups, family…. It’s just brilliant 👍Visited July 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 28 July 2023
- Changuk4 contributionsGo, smile, laugh and have a different night outRefreshing night out going to live comedy, written, improvised and performed by people working really hard. There’s something to be said about sitting inside a room full of people laughing out loud. It’s infectious. Different acts will all different viewpoints on life, all working the room and coping well effortlessly with hecklers which entertained everyone else. You can find some bits funnier than others and everyone in the room finds the bits that make them laugh. It takes a lot to stand up on stage and work hard. Thanks guys for making me laugh and smile through the night by being so quick witted.Visited August 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 19 August 2023

Brilliant comedians, from the host (Chris Cairns) and all three acts (Neil Fitzmaurice, Andre Vincent and Kia Humphries) had me laughing throughout.
The venue is a proper comedy club, in the basement, intimate and felt like I was part of it.
The crowd was right into it too, great participation, fun and lively atmosphere.
I couldn't help but enjoy myself. What a great night out.

My girlfriend and I went for our birthdays, she’d never been to a comedy club before so we made a day of it in Liverpool. The room was so wonderfully air-conned, which was a relief as it was sweltering outside. The compère Chris was on form. Smug roberts, jarred Christmas and Stephen Bailey were the acts and each of them was superb. The venue staff were super organised and made sure everyone was comfortable. Nice crowd as well- poor Nige!
Bar staff were superb as well-5 stars all the way!

Used to love coming here
Always a good night with lots of laughs
I appreciate all comedians can’t be everyone’s cup of tea
But out of the 3 we saw
1 needed new material
1 was absolutely shocking
And the 3rd was a platform for his political views (boring and unfunny )
Think we’ll give this place a year or so and hopefully the quality of the comedians will have improved!

Not my first visit and definitely not my last, brilliant from start to finish from the lads who seat you to the bar staff and acts, if your visiting Liverpool this comedy club has to be on your to do list, it doesn’t matter what acts are on as long as Chris Cairns (Compare) is on your in luck!

Hi Knfruitbat,
Apologies for the delay. Unfortunately our venue is in the basement of a very old building so isn’t accessible.
Many thanks and apologies again,

Hi Delly,
The show starts at 8pm in both venues. We are happy to let customers in until 8.10pm when the MC is on and then ask latecomers to wait until the first interval at 8.30pm to enter if they are late.
I hope this helps - do mention that you may be late when you book and we will save your seat for you.
Thanks,
Paula :)
Can I come in and buy tickets or does it have to be done online? Thank you
