The club was lovely the staff could not do enough for you. We met some lovely people and were made very welcome. Very clean and well designed and hardly had to use own decorations as it is well decorated and looked after. The staff couldn't be anymore helpful with everything and serving my guests the staff was complimented highly by all. Will hopefully booking again in due course for my partners birthday. It had a separate room for the buffet, all staff including barmaids and doorman were just great and really accommodating. Was a brilliant night and would recommend this club for parties. well i took my mum and family and a few friends here to celebrate my mums birthday tickets first of all should say the full amount of cost after the extra fee so they are more than 12 quid when u go to purchase them but the night it’s self was great think the motown songs could of been abit better as i didn’t hear one jackson 5 song or a diana ross song to name a few but wow where this night picks it’s ratings up is the staff couldn’t do enough for us nothing was to much trouble for the staff there amazing especially warren and john then two men i feel keep that club going so helpful so good at there jobs made me and my family feel at ease so a massive shout out to them helped my mum in more ways than i no so but a massive thank you to them both and a few other staff i don’t no the names of and the room is absolutly beautiful be back soon naval xxx

My friends and I had a night out here on Saturday 17 September, this was our 2nd time. On arrival we were met by Lynne Moore, who very kindly showed us to our table which I thought was very professional and gave us that personal touch. The bar had a good selection of drinks, something for everyone! Friendly bar staff. Toilets were spotless. Act and DJ were brilliant resulting in a packed dance floor. Already making arrangements for our next girls night out! X

We hired this for my mum’s 25th wedding anniversary. The staff were brilliant helping us to make it a great night for all. The room was decorated lovely. It had a separate room for the buffet, all staff including barmaids and doorman were just great and really accommodating. Was a brilliant night and would recommend this club for parties. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and couldn’t compliment the place and staff enough.

An amazing venue. I had my daughters party here and the room is amazing and so much room. Very clean and well designed and hardly had to use own decorations as it is well decorated and looked after. Came to Liverpool from Yorkshire with friends we booked tickets to see Ricky Tomlinson wow what a fabulous night. The club was lovely the staff could not do enough for you. We met some lovely people and were made very welcome. Next time we visit Liverpool we will come back x

Thanks to everyone at the navy club Maureen and Joe also a big thanks to Neil for waiting on us all afternoon everyone was impressed with the decor and friendliness of all those involved just couldn’t fault anything.Once again thanks.

Sorrowful Performance
Booked the function room for a funeral reception. I was informed, by Mark, there were no time restrictions with regards to ‘last orders’. We spoke further of the possibilities for provision of catering and the incorporation of music. I duly paid the amount required and continued to make all the necessary arrangements for the forthcoming occasion.
On the stated day, 25th August 2023, family, and friends arrived as expected at 1.00 pm. Independent caterers had organised the buffet as requested. Moreover, after the food service, all tables were cleared by members of the funeral party, no Naval Club staff were required to help.
Around 7.00 pm, a member of staff approached to ask what time the caters were due to clear the remnants of the buffet. This member of staff stated that she had been informed that “caterers would be returning at 5.30 pm. In response I told this said member of staff “arrangements had been to clear the area, in accordance with Mark., between 7.00 – 8.00 pm. Nevertheless, this member of staff indicated “It should have been cleared already, because we’re calling last orders now.”
According to her, we were not purchasing enough drinks at the bar. Apparently when there appears to be a natural lull in drinking, ‘last orders are called’. One of the guests informed me upon hearing this, that the same course of action was taken at his wedding function.
Upon extend discussions with both members of staff, I was informed that funeral functions are only given a five hours’ time limit. When booking Mark gave no such indication. Furthermore, the male member of staff (supposedly senior), produced the order book, which accurately confirmed the start time for 1.00 pm, yet there was no definite closing time listed.
It proved a bad enough day having to cope with the funeral of my wife, but due to the insensitive nature of the Liverpool Naval Club staff, we had no option but to take our custom elsewhere.
Thus, this grief-stricken gathering, was forced to venture further afield in order to continue their bereavement.
I concluded that both members of staff simply wanted to get away early. When I enquired could they provide Mark’s contact number, I was informed that he was on holiday.
This couple showed a distinct lack of respect for my expectations.
Such a sorrowful performance by Naval Club staff.
Never to be forgotten.

We had a party at liverpool naval club bowring park Saturday just gone. As you can see the entertainer who done an amazing job was treated vile with no respect. We as a family and every person who attended the event (200 people!) have said how disgusting the service was from start to finish. The bar staff, managers and owners were rude to every single individual at the party, they had bad attitudes, were very intimidating and threatening and using foul language throughout the whole day. I am ashamed for the owners of this club and they have lost a lot of custom now with Dianne the entertainer from angels and scallies being the best and most popular entertainment in Liverpool! From her comments on her post you will see we are not the only customers who have been treated this way. Shame on use!

Great entertainment , rubbish wine. Gets very packed so tables a bit to close together. Off the beaten track, not easy getting a taxi home.
